Many sanders supporters more like devotees. I would literally fly across the country and serve bernie. And you plan to do that . Yes. To have him as president i think would be like a miracle because then i would know that my mother, who is an immigrant, would have health care. Reporter but they also saw an explosive debate that could blow up the unity democrats will need in november. And i feel like we could come up with a middle ground that the majority of the party agrees with. Do you think thats going to happen . Now, many oracle employees are planning to walk out of work tomorrow, unhappy that ellison hosted the president. Reporter while a sitting San Francisco planning commissioner Dennis Richard called out questionable work at the department of building inspection, repeatedly asking how a contractor managed to build a project on 18th street well beyond the scope of permits while under the watchful eye of inspectors i really think the City Attorney should do an investigation. Regardless of what we do. Here the conduct was so outrageous. Reporter tonight his Attorney Says raising concerns made richards a target. Unprecedented retaliation. Reporter richbards and his Business Partner just filed a lawsuit against the department of building inspection and the city of San Francisco claiming dbi inspectors tried to derail a project richards was involved in on 22nd street to send him a message. Now, the 73yearold debartolo will continue to run his real estate business based in tampa and will work with the golden heart fund, which supports 49ers alumni. Making it in the bay. Our series about our housing crisis. Too little housing and too much homelessness. That was the message in todays state of the state address. Governor newsom calling the crisis a disgrace and proposed access to a new housing fund to invest in fixing this problem. Get financing for Innovative Housing models like hotelmotel conversion and securing vacant units wherever we can find them. Stabilizing and expanding board and care homes, and preventing homelessness in the first place through rent subsidies and rapid rehousing to help people one job loss, one illness away from homelessness. As for the lack of Affordable House the governor said he is committed to cutting red tape for new buildings, especially along transit corridors. Jeff ranieri is with us now. We talk about maybe some changes in the weather coming this weekend. Possibility of a few showers in the next two days. Thatll be great. I know. Its been far and few between over the past two months. In fact, this month no rainfall recorded. We again are likely going on track with one of the driest februarys on record. Could of course rank in the top ten. Theres been some other februarys that have been this dry, but all in all it is unusual. Well get to those shower chances here coming up. But i do want to make sure youre ready to go for tomorrow morning. So well start off with that morning forecast. We get a mix of sun and clouds for the trivalley peninsula and the south bay with temperatures here in the 40s. Notice my forecast here for the east bay, San Francisco and the north bay, has a little bit more cloud cover for the morning than weve been used to. Now, its not going to be fog but rather some high clouds starting to stream across. Youll start here with 47 in San Francisco and the north bay at 43. So it might feel a little bit strange tomorrow because not only will we have high clouds streaming across but temperatures are warming up two to about five degrees. That tha will put us back into the low 70s for the south bay. Theres the strange part. We definitely should not be this warm this time of the year. 71 in antioch, 7 0 in livermore, 72 danville. Over to oakland 69. I also have you at 70 here in palo alto. San francisco getting close here in the mission at 67 and lets bring you up to wine country. 70 in santa rose arks 71 napa, also 70 right here in novato. Things start to change up a little bit for tomorrow. But i really think youre going to go outside and notice it quite a bit more once we hit fridays forecast. Lets show you why. And its all about even more cloud cover moving in by friday morning. It will be more of an overcast afternoon once we hit friday as well. You can see by 3 00 p. M. Not much sunshine. That will be a big switch from all of the blue sky weve been dealing with lately. Again, as we hit fridays forecast. That is all due to a system were following out here in the pacific. Weve seen some subtle changes in this. Its moved a little bit more of to the north in its trajectory and that basically means we have a better chance of a few spotty showers. By 9 30 on friday we get a little thats possible here in the south bay but you can really see the bulk of it down near fresno. Also southern california. And well keep that slight possibility. Had to extend it right here into saturday morning. 7 30 we could see a little bit spin up as well. The south bay with this would have the best chance of getting some showers. Heres what weve done. Spotty chance here on friday. Also into saturday morning. But really for most of your weekend it looks really good here. San francisco highs in the 60s and morning lows in the 40s. Inland valleys not one, not two, but three days in the 70s. Down to 69 on sunday. And back up to more 70s as we head into next week. Big problem with all this besides the fact that we havent had any rain is your allergies. Look at this. Juniper, cypress, cedar, also pine all in the high category. Raj, as you mentioned, a lot of these have these in their own yard. I have three of those. Oh, man. Ive got two of the four. And every time i walk outside you want to enjoy the sun and youre like im sneezing looking at that graphic. I know. Hopefully get that rain in here. Weve got to push it to march and april. I cant think of a february where weve been so dry. This is amazing. Its happened in the past. Well break down those numbers. Thanks, jeff. Up next theyre calling it a looming crisis over those real i. D. S. Why airports are asking the government for a delay. And we have jimmy. Hey, guys. Jennifer lopez is my guest tonight plus we have lil rel howry, thank you notes. The tonight show starts in just a few minutes. And happening now, a man opened fire outside of a hooka lounge, actually multiple lounges in germany, killing eight people. It happened just outside of frankfu frankfurt. The suspect was found dead later at his home. Its still unclear how the shooter died. The motive has not been identified. Were back in a moment. Huge tax breaks for the rich, while the middleclass continues to struggle. Thats what happens when billionaires are able to control the political system. Our campaign is funded by the working people of this country, and those are the people that i will represent. No more tax breaks for billionaires. We are going to guarantee health care to all people and create up to 20 million good paying jobs to save this planet. Im Bernie Sanders and i approve this message because we need an economy that works for all of us, not just wealthy campaign contributors. New photos show a dive team as well as a canine team looking for that missing couple from palo alto. Carol kaparski and ian irwin disappeared last friday while on a hiking trip in marin county. Today crews searched the waters surrounding shell beach and tamales bay. Theyll be back at it tomorrow. If you havent gotten your real i. D. Yet the deadline is fast approaching and airports are urging the white house to extend the deadline to avoid chaos. Everyone is supposed to get their real i. D. By october 1st but the tsa is already anticipating a meltdown, saying flights will be delayed and travelers will be stranded because so far only a third of us have gotten those real i. D. S. Even if everyone started making an effort to get one, states wouldnt be able to keep up. If we worked 24 7, wed have to do seven a minute to get the number of licenses out by october. Now, theres no indication that the deadline will be extended. Now, heres the deal. If its not extended, you can still use other forms of i. D. To board an airplane like a passport or a federal i. D. Okay. Up next steph curry back to work. We have an important update and some amazing video to show you. Stay with us. Okay. Guess who we saw at work today, and he looks ready to go. Steph curry. Its been what, four months since he broke his wrist . And there he is. Look at this. Shooters shoot. We got this video today of curry making 12 threepointers in a row. 12 in a row. Hes been practicing regularly since tuesday. Just this week. But has yet to be cleared for contact. Coach kerr did say that curry would return this season, perhaps in marchx he looks great. [ cheers and applause ] and how about this shot . High school hoops on the peninsula during last weeks game between hillsdale and aragon. Hillsdale senior matt frankel made the shot of his life. He drained a threepointer at the start of the game, which led to this massive amount of cheers and celebration from the players, from the fans, from everyone. Matt has downs syndrome. He serves as the student manager. And they let him shoot and he drained that three. What great sportsmanship from everyone involved. And trump knows it. Im Mike Bloomberg and i approve this message. Okay. Where were you 40 years ago . Were you even alive . This saturday marks the 40th anniversary of one of the biggest and most emotional moments in modern sports, the miracle on ice. In 1980 the u. S. Hockey team stunned the soviet union at the Winter Olympics en route to the gold medal. Tonight in chicago team member Jack Ocallahan dropped the ceremonial puck before the blackhawks hosted the rangers. Jack callahan had a little fun dropping the puck underneath the chicago player, the guy in the red, whos american. The rangers player is russian. Everyone had a good laugh. You can see it there. 40 years ago. We dont remember that at all. You were too young. You too. Its not possible. I just moved here from india. All right. Lets p date us anymore. All right. Take it away. Lets look at that forecast. Slight chance of a spotty shower friday into saturday morning. Its mild, low 70s next couple of days. Dry over the next seven days as well. If we get any showers from that, that will take us out of the category of this dry february. At least the driest. The only other time weve had no rainfall in San Francisco in a february was back in 1864. Do you remember that . Yeah. Sure. All that good vitamins im taking.
