That 80 foot crane is helping lift the 22,000 pound machine into the air. Now that new equipment is expected to help about 7,000 patients a year to get better mri scans. After two weeks and chaos and anger about the new rideshare pickup zone, the airport are seeing some improvement. People have taken to social media to complain about waiting more than 45 minutes to get picked up by an uber driver. Those drivers also frustrated saying the new central pickup zone on the top floor is tough to get to. Sfo made changes including opening up more lanes and improving signage. According to the examiner, those changes cut the wait times in half allowing 2,000 more ride haul pickups than the previous sunday. Here is a live look outside in palo alto. Throughout the day were going to see those high temperatures make it up to about 80 degrees and then come back down. Still a brisk on shore wind that will cool it off from the coast to the inland areas but it will still be hot in spots like oakley. Were going to be at 82 degrees at noon. And if you are heading out to the park at about 3 00, you may find yourself touching the slides to make sure it is not too hot for kids and the winds will pick up at about 5 00 to help bring the team the temperatures back down and 7 00 might be better if you are not able to get out within the next couple of hours, wait until later this evening. But we are going to have in some spots slightly cooler temperatures today. Here we are at 12 30 and were seeing some low 80s in some of the east bay valleys. Still in the upper 70s in the south bay. Were going to see the high in downtown san jose reach about 82 degrees. And then it comes down by 5 00 and also cool along the coastline with San Francisco in the mid60s and novato at 77 degrees during that main evening commute and then coming back down into the 50s and 60s for the overnight hours. A nice cooldown and also chilly out there at oracle park if your going to the giants game, expect to be in the lower 60s and the sustained winds are at about 20 miles per hour. So bundle up, wear extra layers. We have some slightly cooler temperatures across the region as this area of low pressure sets up across the pacific northwest. It is going to be slow to move over the next few days. It is providing an ocean breeze that onshore wind blow that brings us down cooler than normal into the middle of the week so the valleys reach in the 70s and 80s and then into the weekend that is going to be making its way toward the east. High pressure moves in for the weekend. But look at what is going to happen next week. Another area of low pressure. Not bringing us any rain but providing cooling temperatures so it does look like the nice weather stays for for quite a while. The sevenday forecast, low 80s today and then some upper 70s for tomorrow and then the cooler day in the forecast is thursday as we reach up to 74 degrees. Some low 80s in the forecast for saturday into or sunday into monday. But it does look good in San Francisco and keeping the fog close to the coast. But overall a great forecast.
