If you wait until about 10 00, it will be 71 degrees and then 81 degrees at 1 00, as we head into the mid 80s there, and as you take your dog out walking, you may still be sneezing. We have a lot of grass and weed pollen, mostly ragweed right now floating through the air. Well talk about a hotter weekend forecast and mike you were saying the crash has been cheered from san jose. The one we were tracking on 280 cleared. No reports of slowing, just slowing for north 101, the typical pattern as we enter the friday lighter commute. The commute is kicking in still. Southbound 880 slows toward mission but the crash again the updated location is just past mission at warren. Its at the offramp there, the offramp is open but theres a jack knifed big rig on the shoulder and that distraction may be enough to set off extra slowing. Not a manjor issue. The bill now goes to committee. The Senate Passed a similar bill last month. Mcdonalds is going hightech as it tries to speed up what happens when you order. The wall street journal says mcdonalds is testing Voice Recognition software at the drivethru window at one location in the chicago suburbs. It will likely expand that to other locations. We have some, a little bit of a cool start but a warm afternoon. Head to sunol with a live look outside, going above the clouds. Looks like a beautiful sunrise this morning, at 56 degrees there and we can see the clouds from tiburon this morning as we are also going to have a slightly warmer day in the city and more sun. Lets go to the north bay, santa rosa heading out to the park, we start out the morning with a few clouds and need for a jacket in the low 50s. At 10 00 were warming up, in the upper 60s but comfortable and heating up today into the low 80s and then the winds pick up this evening. Here is a look at our high temperatures today. Well reach 84 degrees in livermore. 86 in concord. San francisco staying at 6 of degrees and the fog close to Half Moon Bay keeps it in the low 60s with palo alto and san jose reaching 82. The cool weather and the break from that high heat that we had was all thanks to an area of low pressure that passed to the north of us and brought some showers to the pacific northwest. And for us, we are going to see a shift in the wind direction going into the weekend thats going to mac it hot. Next week another low is dropping in just staying to the north of us but it will provide a stronger onshore wind flow and cooler temperatures going into next week. We just have to make it through this weekend, where our inland valleys reach into the low 90s. Some gusty winds and monday its still warm but look at the dropoff in temperatures tuesday reaching 78 degrees thats inland. San francisco will drop into the lower 60s, more clouds than fog and were going to get a little bit more sun in time for the weekend. Mike, one crew is working late on a friday. Once theyre done, theyre on to the weekend. We showed you the crew before 5 00, they should be in the final clearing stages. Still in the clearing stage at the toll plaza that does reduce capacity by two lanes. Traffic looking all right. Fast track is all right, hov is okay. Cash lane a little less capacity but less traffic as well keeps things moving smoothly off of richmond and the east shore freeway. The bay bridge toll plaza also has your metering lights on and thats got your standard backup, no problems through or out of the maze. A nice drive, a crash reported somewhere in oakland off the nimitz. Sounds like everything is off the shoulder. Well check that drive. South 880 shows the ohm other real slowing, south bay, peninsula, trivalley move smoothly. It is south 880 as you approach warren here and i believe its behind this tree the warren offramp is there, looking at a disabled truck, actually a truck crash thats stuck over on the shoulder and out of lanes, but at least its a distraction to fremont. Back to you. Thank you, mike. Next for you a religious police force could soon be the thing in one southern state. The law alabamas governor just signed. About half of a Million People in america die from cardiac arrest. Many of those cases its because they didnt get help fast enough. But now theres a way that smart assistants like alexa could change all that. Researchers say an algorithm can identify whats known as agono breathing with 97 of accuracy within 20 feet. Devices like amazons echo or google home could potentially use the app to listen for that dangerous warning sign. Before the device calls 911, it would issue a warning with a chance for to you cancel. Out to plez an hill headed to the bate station upper 50s there and the next couple of hours in the upper 60s, upper 70s at noon. Quick warmup today. Mike you say theres a jack knifed big rig. Headed toward milpitas out of fremont. I circled it right there. Its off of the roadway. So this is the warren avenue exit around mission boulevard, probably a better locator for folks who arent familiar with the area. Theres slowing for the distraction but not a lot. As the crews arife, i dont know when that will be to clear the big rig and likely have to clear one lane and youll probably sew soom slowing through the area. We see over the last half hour as folks tap the brakes to see whats going on with the chp and find the rig and get a little stunned. 680 youre just fine, shouldnt have a problem making that interchange and the rest of the day shows an easy light friday drive. The backup at the bay bridge toll plaza and slowing out of richmond and toward san rafael. Back to you. Thanks so much, mike. 6 31. New video of a massive inferno. Look at the size of it. New details saying there is clear evidence the president of the were to toe raptors hit a deputy after the game last week. This is a live look outside oracle arena in oakland. Bob redell is live outside of the arena. Talk to us about what that video shows. Reporter marcus, we understand it comes from two sources, the security cam inside oracle arena behind me and the deputys body cam, and it shows the Toronto Raptors president using both his fists in a shoving motion and hitting that deputy in the jaw. This is according to Alameda County sergeant ray kelly, who spoke with our own raj mathai last night. You recall we broke this story last week. As you can see in our exclusive video shows the aftermath. Masai ujiri, the toronto team collective, being separated from the deputy, after the alleged altercation. We confirmed the globe and mail newspaper in toronto has seen the video images and verifies what Sergeant Kelly is describing. Sergeant kelly says the deputy was just doing his job, checking for proper credentials for people, trying to enter the Basketball Court after the raptors beat the warriors to win the nba championship. He tried to force his way pass our deputy. Our deputy did his job the way hes supposed to, to protect the court especially at a highprofile event of National Security significance, and he did his job and did it correctly. Mr. Ujiri then came back and, in a very aggressive manner, confronted our deputy and at that point, using both his fists in a shoving motion, struck our deputy in the jaw. Reporter Sergeant Kelly also said the deputy suffered a concussion and is now getting death threats. The sheriff was recommending charges be filed against ujiri. That decision will be made by the district attorney. Reporting live in oakland, bob redell, today in the bay. Thanks, bob. 6 34 right now.
