Kidney Dysfunction Is Strongest Death Risk Factor Following Stroke Thrombolysis

Nearly 1 in 3 patients who underwent stroke thrombolysis in this study had stage 3 or higher chronic kidney disease. Kidney dysfunction appears to be a crucial determinant of death risk among patients with stroke thrombolysis.
