But the north bay, a huge chunk of napa, sonoma, marin county right now starting out in the low and mid 60s. So that will get us into the 80s later on today. Part of the reason why were mild, we have this wind right now still offshore that is breezy and that is giving those temperatures their mild start right now. So we take a live look from the rooftop camera here at kgo along the embarcadero. It is sunny all day long. Sunrise here very shortly at 605. Its warm to hot. City attorney david chu trying again to stop this move from the port of oakland, saying that if they do not Work Together, San Francisco and oakland and the port of oakland, he will proceed with this lawsuit. He telling them in a letter that both sides should Work Together on a name that benefits both San Francisco and oakland. He filed a lawsuit back in april claiming the proposed name change will create chaos and confuse millions of travelers. He also says it infringes on sfos trademark. The port trust that travelers understand the San Francisco bay. Like virtually every other major metropolitan metropolitan area throughout the world, can contain more than one airport. David chu, in his letter yesterday saying, if oakland continues to rebuff our offers to partner, we will have to move forward with the next steps in our trademark lawsuit. They are scheduled to vote on a proposal that would change the way privately owned Utility Companies like pgandes can build customers. If approved, most people would notice two changes a 24 per month flat rate and a lower electricity usage rate. That flat rate fee would be used for things like grid maintenance and wildfire mitigation, which are currently included in the usage rate. Going to make utility bills more affordable for low income households. That will reduce the volatility of month to month bills, and it will promote electric creation. If this proposal is approved, the new billing structure would take effect next year. New parking meters in downtown san bruno are causing a lot of frustration for some people. Now. Business owners are asking for a change. They held a meeting with City Council Members to address their concerns. People now have to pay for at least a full hour because theres no partial hour parking. I paid two hours for a 30 minute swim lesson. I feel like in San Francisco, most of them, its just like an up arrow down arrow. And you do like a quarter of an hour increments. Mccloskey served in the marine corps during the korean war, where he was awarded the navy cross and silver star. He spent the last 20 years of his life farming in the sacramento valley. This is one of my prized possessions, having served in congress. I dont know if you can see this, but, he presented this to me, midway through my career and he said he wanted me to have one of his purple hearts because he said there was no equivalent medal for a civilian who have served and been wounded. And, he thought this was one way of rectifying it. So its a treasure. Speer also shared with us a picture taken last week of mccloskey and his wife, helen.
