They were on edge overnight. Now you can see why. As the morning comes up in elkhorn, a Community Near omaha, you can see all of the damage. So many of these homes totally torn out by that tornado, and were talking about so many people that had to either evacuate, cower for their lives, and seeing what was inside of their homes, as they work to figure out what is next. Overnight, tornadoes tearing through the heartland. This is a strong one too. That is not good. Reporter more than two dozen reported in nebraska alone. This neighborhood in elkhorn flattened. Homes shredded. A drone video capturing the damage, roofs ripped off homes. I was crying like a baby, because it was just the scariest feeling in the world. Youre helpless. Reporter residents now picking up the pieces of whats left and search and rescue efforts still underway. At least two people injured in the town according to local officials. Weve been very fortunate with very few injuries. It seems like our Warning Systems in the city of omaha have been very effective. Reporter about 70 people trapped inside this Manufacturing Business in lancaster county, after a tornado slammed into it injuring three people. And in the state capital of lincoln, this tornado swirling near an event center sending debris flying. Lots of debris in the air. Reporter nearby a powerful twister crossing interstate 80. Hey, janai, just in time for the busy Summer Travel season and Southwest Airlines is exiting four airports following a big loss in profits and delays in getting planes from boeing. They will end service this summer in cozumel, syracuse, bellingham and Washington State and george bush intercontinental airport in houston. Those airports were not performing, which was the deciding factor in Cutting Service there, and cutting half its flights in atlanta, and about a third at chicagos ohare, and expects to end the year with 2,000 fewer employees. The Budget Airline is trying to cut costs after losing more than 230 million from january to march. Now, its also considering ditching its signature open seating policy and possibly start charging customers to pick their seats. The first come first serve no seat reservation is what southwest is known for. Most other major carriers already charge passengers to choose their seats. Southwest says no decision has been made yet but it is, quote, seriously studying seating and the way passengers board planes. An announcement is expected in september. Joi dickersondeal is suing him for sexually assaulting her claiming he drugged her and assaulted her when she was 19 years old back in the early 90s. She also alleges he videotaped the assault without her knowledge and shared it with others. Combs has denied the allegations. Im so privileged that ive been able to maintain my Mental Health. This is a free medicine. Reporter and now im following in her footsteps running my own Half Marathon for the first time. Its been a bucket list goal of mine for the last decade after i developed debilitating arthritis and needed a full hip replacement in 2013. But fast forward 11 years and 3 kids later, i decided training for a Half Marathon would be a good investment in my own postpartum Mental Health. Running isnt easy, okay. Theres a very small percentage of people that actually run. So the fact that people from still i run or people that are interested in running for their Mental Health can get out of bed and get that run on still they run. Its incredibly inspiring. My biggest advice i give most people is just enjoy the experience and enjoy the energy and just have fun. Janai now we will bring in a tearyeyed dr. You know we are friends. Us doing this piece totally came from a conversation in my office. When you randomly decided to bring it up. Janai to bring up that i had a full hip replacement. Just it was a fun fact. Janai and you were shocked. Yeah, you were completely shocked. Its just so unique. It tracks for you. Janai right, thank you. So, yes, i went through this arthritis in my early 20s and it got so bad you could see i was limping there. It was like bone on bone, needed a full hip replacement. Id run track in high school but for the longest time i couldnt run. Talk to us first just about the benefits of any kind of exercise but especially running for Mental Health. Well, movement and running benefits us not just for our physical health but our emotional health. You know, when you look at the most recent data, it shows those who rung compared to those who dont have decreased rates of depression, anxiety and stress. Janai, i think the most interesting way to describe it when neuroscientists talk about running its like bathing your brain in all of these beneficial chemicals, endorphin, serotonin and dopamine. If you could bottle it, it would probably be sold out. Janai its tough to run ten miles and training but getting the fresh air, sunlight. All of your body moving, it feels so good but for someone like me who has a hip replacement i have to be mindful of these things. What do you need to take into consideration . You have to be mindful. Talking to your provider if you can, your surgeon about what are your limitations especially if you have something as specific as a hip replacement. Also even possibly getting a physical therapy rereferral to understand limitations can be beneficial. Some may not be able to run. Walking it also beneficial as well. Janai as you heard, forward is a pace. Thats what im telling myself. Im not trying to break records but just want to finish it and the sense of accomplishment. Im so excited to watch. Thank you you. If you do it overnight gets all the way through the brisket, not just the top of the beef but ready for the best part . Well add more onion soup into there so extra flavor. Best friends forever. Oh, yes, yes. Right there. Ill mix it right into there so everything is the same flavor so crazy easy to make and then do you want to pour this in there . You can give its top hat to the brisket. Make a plus sign so if the lines are going like this, just go the opposite way and you just cut right through there and what youll do is youll see all those lines. It will fall apart in your mouth.
