Reporter donald trump hitting the road, asking voters to send him back to the white house one day after appearing in federal court to face charges that he broke his oath of office. The former president arguing voters should support him not in spite of his mounting legal challenges but because of them. Theyre trying to make it illegal to question the results of a bad election. Reporter in fact, special counsel jack smith wrote in his indictment that trump was entitled to formally challenge the results of the election through lawful and appropriate means such as by seeking recounts or filing lawsuits, but that trump pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting the election results. Trump facing four new charges about his attempt to stay in power in the latest indictment, conspiracy to defraud the united states, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, specifically the january 6th certification of the results, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights to deprive people of their right to vote and have their votes be counted. Trump pleaded not guilty on all counts, but Trumps Campaign tactics so far working with a huge lead in the gop primary polls and a new abc ipsos poll showed that 46 of americans think the new charges against trump are politically motivated, though nearly 65 think they are serious. It is unwarranted and unfair. I just think it is a bunch of trumped up charges. Now to the fda approval coming in overnight, the firstever pill to treat postpartum depression known as zuranolone. It is taken daly for two weeks, a game changer for the nearly half a million moms who suffer from postpartum depression and here is dr. Darien with more. We love having you. Tell us about this medication. This is really a game changer. It is. It is the first fda approved oral medication to treat postpartum depression and it comes after two randomized studies able to show mothers who suffered from postpartum depression and took the medication for two weeks had significant improvements in their symptoms compared to mothers who did not. Those improvements appear to be persistent over the 45day period that the mothers were followed. Janai i mean taking a medication for just two weeks, how often is it we see medication thats so effective so quickly . It is not often. In fact, we have not seen it yet. In this study, however, the most common symptoms appear to be sleepiness or drowsinessieness, which is why they say dont take the medication, for example, before you drive or operate heavy machinery. One of the limitations in this study was that they did not study mothers who were breastfeeding so it is still to be said. Janai thats interesting because there are obviously concerns if it could impact the baby or anything like that. Are there any side effects . Overall those most common side effects exist which are sleepiness and drowsiness. Thankfully it is limited to that, what we see so far. Thankfully we have not seen anything beyond that which provides a lot of hope. Janai when will this be available and what should mothers know . We can expect it to be available after the 90day safety review from the dea or the Drug Administration essentially. Theyre trying to make sure the drug is safe and effective. Excuse me, it is effective. Theyre trying to ensure it is safe. As far as symptoms of postpartum depression it can include symptoms similar to depression but sim tons of withdrawal from your family, feelings that you cant connect with your child and it can progress to severe symptoms, feelings and thoughts of selfharm or harming your child. So make no mistake, this diagnosis can be a life threatening one so it is important that mothers seek help at the earliest signs. Janai doctor, real quick, if a mother is considering making this medication versus breastfeeding, how should she weigh the risk . I think it is important to understand, a healthy mother is a healthy baby. So i think making the best decisions for you first will lead to better decisions for your child, but it is important for mothers to understand, especially since half of the mothers with postpartum depression go undiagnosed because of the shame and the stigma. Having a medication labeled to treat this diagnosis reminds us it is due to a biological reason and not one of moral failure. Janai and that postpartum phase so important, dr. Sutton. This is for the Garbage Disposal because it is the grossest thing that the smells coming out of there. What you do is put ice cubes and salt and lemon wedges and run cold water and the Garbage Disposal. The salt is like an abrasive getting the grime out, and the lemon wedges whit like this, through the whole chunk down . Throw in the ice, the salt and lemon and make sure it is cold running water. Dont do hot water skroo i whit thats very important. Lets move to the oven. You can use a miss tour of vinegar and baking soda and water and spray it inside the oven. Whit the mixture is all in here, all in one . It is all in here. It is one, one, one, and then spray it inside the oven. Whit got it. Okay. Dont turn the oven on. Just leave it overnight and wipe it down with soapy water in the morning. Whit okay. All right. Janai okay. What about the dishwasher . So the dishwasher, you want to check your filter on it. Also, this is super easy. You take a mixture of vinegar and water in a pyrex glass and put it in the top rack and then you run it. Janai okay. What happens is the water and vinegar ee acidity on takes all of the grime off. Janai im trying that when i get home. What about the coffee maker . You know that gets dirty in the water tank. You want to do the same thing, one part water to one part vinegar. Pour it in and leave it in for like an hour to clean the water tank and then run a drip cycle. Janai okay. Then run a cycle with plain water after that. Janai to make sure it is all out. You dont want vinegar in your coffee. We have to do it in the building here. Help me. Baking sheets, same thing. Sprinkle the baking soda on the baking sheet. Then you spirits this is Hydrogen Peroxide. It is going to bubble. You spray it on the baking sheet and you want to leave it for a couple of hours, even overnight. Then you use a scrubbing sponge and you scrub it off. This might take a little muscle. Will thats why i work out. Yes, to scrub your baking sheet. The baking soda and Hydrogen Peroxide get the stains off the baking sheet.
