Ahead, reassuring the country that President Trumps refusal to concede wont derail the transition. I just think its an embarrassment, quite frankly. Hurricane watch. Eta on the move. Hardhit florida bracing for whiplash as the storm intensifies expected to make landfall again. Ginger tracking the path this morning. Sting operation. An alarming discovery in the hunt for murder hornets. Experts reveal what they found in that first nest uncovered in the u. S. Hundreds still alive and as many as 200 queens. What it means for the race to stop their spread. Also this morning, new details about Lori Loughlins life behind bars as she prepares to enter the general population after quarantining. And is her tv comeback already in the works for when shes released . Cant touch this and a hop and a skip. Cant touch this to a hole in one. A legendary shot at the masters. Whats being called the greatest golf shot youll ever see. My, my, my yes, were marveling at that shot as well. I could have done that. You could not have done that. Sure, it just wouldnt be on purpose. Good point. Very good point there, george. What a way to say good morning, america. Good to be with you on this wednesday morning as we honor veterans and their families today. Thats right. Take a look at the Vietnam Veterans memorial on this veterans day. The name of Service Women and servicemen etched in that granite honoring their service and sacrifice for the country. We owe a debt of gratitude to all our nations veterans and this morning we begin with the latest on the coronavirus emergency. Right now, nearly 62,000 americans are hospitalized with the virus, nearly 131,000 new cases reported in a single day. Both of these are u. S. Records. Chief National Correspondent matt gutman is in texas this morning where they just surpassed 1 million cases. Good morning, matt. Reporter hey, good morning, michael. Thats an alarming statistic. Another one as many people hospitalized in el paso as in many states. Brought in 1400 Health Care Workers but that hasnt stemmed the rise. Its mirrored across the country with cases and hospitalizations doubling since september. This morning, the u. S. Notching a trio of Records Highest number of cases, hospitalizations and for the first time all 50 states reporting an increase in cases at the same time. Infectious disease experts warn we are headed towards 200,000 cases a day. I mean, we are watching cases increase substantially in this country, far beyond what most people thought could happen. Reporter texas topping a million cases, the most in the nation and ground zero, el paso, crushed under a record of patients in icu care and deaths. Patients being treated in dozens of tents across the city and the state has sent in ten morgue trucks and county judge ricardo tells us more could be needed soon. So in two weeks youre going to have ten more trucks filled and youll need more. If we have the same trajectory, if we dont stop the increase. Reporter among those lost, football coach Charles Browning who loved the game but his family more. We were all telling him just keep fighting. And even that morning i said, you have to pinkie promise me that you will not stop fighting and he put his finger up there and when we every time when we ended a phone call, it was i love you and then he would wave to me like this and i would throw him kisses. Reporter in wisconsin, governor evers addressing the state about the growing crisis. 5,000 wisconsinites could be lost to covid19 by january 1st if no further actions are taken to get this virus under control. That means another 2500 people who might not be with us on new years day. Reporter and in north dakota, with hospitals already at 100 , the governor there allowing asymptomatic Health Care Workers and nurses to continue working and attending to patients in hospital covid19 units. At the age of 17, alvia ramirez, the youngest person in the state to lose her life to the virus, her mother watched her swift decline. I didnt think my daughter at 17 would die from a virus almost like a cold that you catch as easily as a cold. Reporter healthcare workers have been saying this for month, cdc is out with new guidelines saying that wearing a mask not only helps people around you but protects the wearer. So if you ever needed another reason to wear a mask, there you have it. Robin. There you have it. Hey, matt, thank you. Joining us is dr. Todd vento, Infectious Disease expert from Intermountain Health care from salt lake city. Doctor, thank you for your work, and we thank Health Care Workers all across the country, and i understand that in your area right now that youre saying that youre at a breaking point. Can you tell us what youre seeing firsthand, doctor . Certainly. And so we are actually hovering around mid200s to 300 cases in august and then after september, when schools went back and changing behaviors, we actually saw a steady increase to the point were at an exponential phase and pushed 3,000 cases, over 2500 cases a day over a sevenday rolling average and as a result, we actually see subsequent increase in our numbers of hospitalizations to the point where some of our hospitals have actually been at and over capacity at times in the past few weeks and so its putting an immense strain and stress on our Health Care System and our Health Care Workers. What you said there about being at capacity. Many hospitals not just you there in utah are at near or at capacity. What exactly does that mean when it comes to patient care . Sure, well, you know, in the capacity, it talks about the bed numbers, it doesnt talk about what that strain puts on individuals who are doing extra shifts or working past their shifts and things like that, but what it also means is that we cant at some point we get to the point where were not delivering to the care to the same standard we could be and we had a low mortality rate, death rate in utah in particular and thats great, but as we get more cases we cant provide the same level of care, therefore, what you can expect and see in other cities early in the pandemic that the mortality rate will go higher. The patients will have more severe illnesses and thats what were very concerned about and rightfully so. And utahs governor had just issued a statewide mask mandate and other issues including a twoweek on social gatherings, increased testing. Do you believe that these measures will be enough to flatten the curve, dr. Vento . I certainly hope so and time will tell. Well be looking at that closely and working very closely with the Governors Office on the task force, et cetera. Going to the universal mask mandate is important for another reason. The cdc has now stated that it not just protects you as a patient, it protects others, so we have clear data that masks work and so our governor decided that well make a universal mask mandate instead of chasing the transmission rates and changing that. Based off that transmission rate. Thats important but i think seeing that our spread in our community has come from social gatherings in particular, you know, maybe extended family and et cetera, thats where were targeting this pause in social gatherings, extracurricular activities, hoping that will make a dent in that part of our epidemic thats causing the increase in surge, but i do believe that we may very well have to go to stricter measures if we dont see the decrease in cases very soon. Doctor, you said something very interesting. You say youre not only fighting the virus but also misinformation. Explain what you mean. Yeah, i actually had to look up some of this myself. I looked up the term misinformation and disinformation and i think some of that can be maybe unintentional and harmless. Harmless in the sense that individuals just dont know. Maybe we have to educate folks to say, see, individuals can get sick and they can have multiple complications, its not just about the death rate being low, which is great, however, many patients and families suffered and have longterm symptom, athletes with inflammation of their heart, being able to perform, and individuals with symptoms that havent gone away for three, four months, so i think the misinformation there is people thinking, oh, well, it has a low death rate so i can just get it and its quite the opposite. If youre in a family with one of these patients who had that or a family that had someone die thats just a travesty its a tragic situation and i think thats the information that should be out there, not that its only a few people get really sick. Thank you so much, dr. Vento, for your insight and we appreciate the work that others are doing across the country. Stay well. Thank you, sir. Thank you. And in our next half hour, well speak with a top fedex executive about the plans to get the potential vaccine out to the public. To washington now, where President Trump is purging the top ranks of the pentagon after firing defense secretary mark esper, replacing officials with white house loyalists for this lame duck period of his presidency. Chief Global Affairs anchor Martha Raddatz has the latest. Good morning, martha. Reporter good morning, george. This has many inside and outside the pentagon very concerned. These were all key people at the pentagon. Their names are not familiar to most. But among those now out, the head of policy, the head of intelligence and security and the chief of staff, and the men replacing them controversial to say the least, including retired Brigadier General anthony tata whose nomination this summer for the pentagon policy job, was withdrawn and once calling president obama a terrorist leader. Tata will now fill that policy position and filling the chief of staff job kash patel. Who played a leading role trying to discredit the investigation into the Trump Campaign and russia. So why make these changes now . There is worry that the president may be planning a military operation possibly against iran, or the use of activeduty military troops to quell any civil unrest, something secretary esper publicly opposed. In an interview with military times, when his firing appeared imminent, esper said, whoever they put into his job would be a real yes man adding and then god help us. Michael. Powerful words there, thank you so much. And now were going to turn to the latest on President Trumps refusal to concede defeat, delaying the transition to a Biden Administration as his Campaign Challenges the ballot counts with no evidence of widespread fraud as president elect joe biden forges ahead. Mary bruce tracking the latest for us. Reporter as President Trump is digging in, president elect joe biden is trying to project calm and lower the temperature amid all of this uncertainty, but there is growing concern that the president s refusal to reckon with reality here could have serious repercussions. This morning, as President Trump continues to defy the outcome of the election, unwilling to admit defeet, president elect joe biden is trying to reassure americans trump wont derail his transition. We dont see anything thats slowing us down, quite frankly. Reporter forging ahead even though the president still insists we will win. Trump has been holed up in the white house filing longshot legal challenges but he has yet to provide any evidence of widespread fraud. His administration refusing to take key steps to begin the transfer of power. The nations top diplomat secretary of state mike pompeo perpetuating the false narrative that trump could still win. Is the state department currently preparing to engage with the Biden Transition Team and at what point does it hamper a smooth transition or pose a risk to a Nation Security . There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump Administration. Reporter while on the hill tuesday Vice President mike pence also at odds with reality refusing to comment or come to terms with the election results. Mr. Vice president , is it time to concede . Is there really any evidence of fraud . Reporter we asked the president elect how hes planning to move forward with the transition. How will you move ahead if the president continues to refuse to concede . Were going to do exactly what wed be doing if he had conceded and said we won, which we have, and so theres nothing really changing. But not ruling out legal action . No, i dont see a need for legal action, quite frankly. So far, there is no evidence of any of the assertions made by the president or secretary of state pompeo. Reporter and pressed on his message to americans worried about trumps refusal to concede. I just think its an embarrassment, quite frankly. The only thing that how can i say this tactfully . I think it will not help the president s legacy. Reporter now privately people close to the president tell us that he knows this race is over and yet, he is still perpetuating this false narrative and dangerously undermining a peaceful transition of power, george. Mary, we should underscore that this has never happened before in American History and democracies depend on losers accepting the results of the election. Yet, the white house is Going Forward with these challenges even though they know they cant succeed. Reporter george, they know the math here. They know that there is no pathway to win through litigation and so its hard to say if they really have a Clear Strategy here except to try and sow doubt in the legitimacy of a biden presidency. The question then becomes really how far is the president willing to go to undermine our electoral system and does it do lasting damage beyond just a biden presidency. Which was exactly the russians goal in interfering in the election. Thanks very much. To the Supreme Court now where the justices considered a case yesterday about the fate of obamacare. The Trump Administration and republican governors argued it should be struck down but key justices signaled that was unlikely with their questions. Senior National Correspondent terry moran has the latest. Reporter this morning, theres new hope for the Affordable Care act and the millions of americans with preexisting conditions who could be unable to qualify or pay for Health Insurance without it. The Supreme Court weighing arguments in a challenge brought by the Trump Administration and 18 republicanled states. They say that the acas individual mandate, which initially required most americans to have Health Insurance or pay a fine, should be struck down as unconstitutional and the whole law thrown out with it but two conservatives on the bench, chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett kavanaugh, signaled that even if they do strike down that mandate, the rest of the law could still stand. It does seem fairly clear that the proper remedy would be to sever the mandate provision and leave the rest of the act in place. The provisions regarding preexisting conditions and the rest. Reporter chief Justice Roberts also noting sharply that republicans in congress had the chance to repeal the whole act but couldnt muster the votes. I think its hard for you to argue that congress intended the entire act to fall if the mandate were struck down when the same congress that lowered the penalty to zero did not even try to repeal the rest of the act. I think, frankly, that they wanted the court to do that, but thats not our job. Reporter a decision in this crucial case is expected sometime early next year and while the justices questions suggest they wont strike down the aca its worth remembering questions arent rulings, robin. Got to keep that in mind. Thank you. Were going to turn to a special honor for sully, the service dog known for his loyalty to former president george h. W. Bush. Nearly 131,000 new cases in a single day. Both of these are new records. States are reimposing some of their toughest restrictions right now as they try to stop the spread. Humpback whale bursting through the surface right there. You can hear the gasps. One witness summed it up well, beautiful. All right, same thing i would have called it, right . Beautiful. Beautiful from this far away, i can say that. We begin with that new hope in the fight against coronavirus. The next steps for the vaccine and pfizer is laying out how it plans to distribute hundreds of millions of doses if approved. Abcs Steve Osunsami is in atlanta with that. Good morning to you, steve. Reporter good morning to you, michael. This vaccine is believed to be 90 effective within 7 days after the second dose. That is more effective than the flu vaccine. So as you can imagine, once its approved, there will be immense pressure to roll it out. As the Clinical Trials this morning for the various coronavirus vaccines are wrapping up, the drugmaker out the gate first says it will work with local governments to move the drug across the u. S. Drugmaker pfizer says that seniors who are more at risk and First Responders like doctors and nurses will get the drug before anyone else. Californias Vandenberg Air force base will be one of the first places to get shipments. Hospitals, clinics and pharmacies will follow. Moving the doses is a huge challenge. Patients need two doses and they have to be stored in freezer that keep them 94 degrees below zero and pfizer is using temperaturecontrolled thermal shipping with dry ice and gps sensors that track the location and temperature of the packages. Theyre using fedex and u. P. S. , both air and ground service, to get the vaccines shipped anywhere in the country within two days. Dr. Anthony fauci says that most americans will not get their doses of the vaccine until early next year. Were talking probably by april, the end of april, i would think. Again, these are just guesstimates. Right. Reporter and doctors say that when you do get the shots, dont be surprised to feel your body respond. Some people saying they feel sore arms after the injection i along with aches and pains. The army general in charge of Vaccine Distribution says hes concerned that americans wont take the vaccine. If we get vaccines to the American People and they dont take them, shame on us. Hey, i was already sick. I dont need it. Shame on us. And it does keep me up at night. Reporter an investigation by propublica found that some places in america are going to have a harder time moving and shipping this vaccine in the necessary cold. They found that urban and city areas will have an easier time doing this than rural parts of the country, george. Okay, steve, thanks. Lets bring in richard w. Smith, the regional president for fedex express. Just walk us through what you all are doing right now to be ready once this approval comes through. Sure, george, and thanks for having me on. Since its veterans day, i would like to start by recognizing our fedex team members who have served in the armed forces. We were founded by a proud veteran and we want to thank them for their service. In terms of our preparation for this, it has been immense and frequent. We are on daily calls with all of the stakeholders from the department of defense to health and Human Services and the cdc, to the various vaccine manufacturers and distributors who are our customers, as well as many of the Administration Sites who will be out there administering the doses of the vaccine. This has been an extensive process as i said. Weve had a lot of frequent communication and we believe the size and scale of our express network positions us to play a Critical Role in this. We serve 220 countries and territories around the world and connect 99 of the worlds gdp including servicing every zip code in the United States of america. So you Service Every zip code. Will you be able to get a vaccine to every american who wants one . We will be able to get a vaccine to every Administration Site or dosing center that is administering the vaccines to the American Public in these communities where they are waiting for these vaccines. Talk about the complications caused by the fact that this has to go at such low temperatures. This cold chain infrastructure youre developing. Absolutely. So a lot of the protecting of the product will be on the packaging side, but should something go wrong as things sometimes do outside of our control, weather events or other delays, unforeseen delays that can happen, we have 90 cold chain facilities on five continents and we have over 5,000 facilities total in the express network but 90 of them on five continents have cold chain capabilities including in some of these key hubs and gateways, ultra cold freezer storage, so if something goes wrong, we can stage the product until we can get it moved again, but make no mistake. Just in time nature of this supply chain requires us, really what the vaccine manufacturers and distributors are looking for us to do and what it requires us to do is move things rapidly and reliably, which is what Federal Express was created to do quite literally in 1973 so we have a 47year history of doing just that. So what does rapidly mean . How long will it take to get from a manufacturer to a vaccination site . In the United States, absolutely positively overnight. Wow, that is really something and what worries you most . Well, look, you focus on what you can control in the planning and preparation for this which as i mentioned is going on daily. We modeled out a number of scenarios and as more information becomes known we of course plugged that into our plans. There will certainly be things outside of our control in the supply chain, but were incredibly confident in our preparation, in our network and our capabilities, including some of the new Technology Solutions that will give us positive control of these vaccines and our ability so intervene should something to wrong while theyre in our network so we feel very, very confident in what we can control with these shipments when theyre within our network. It really does sound like youve done your work. Richard smith, thanks very much. Michael. Thank you. George, we now have new details on the murder hornet nest found in Washington State, the first ever discovered in the u. S. And scientists revealing what they found inside that they hope to stop their spread. Abcs Kayna Whitworth joins us with more. Good morning, kayna. Reporter michael, good morning. That giant nest with more than 500 murder hornets inside, keep in mind, was found just 40 feet away from where kids play. Scientists this morning saying they found nearly 200 queens and thats incredible important because many of them could have survived the winter and then started their own colonies creating hundreds of new murder hornets. This morning, experts making some surprising discoveries after eradicating the first asian giant hornet nest in the u. S. Splitting open this tree and finding the nest to be 14 inches long. Inside more than 500 of the socalled murder hornets, some of them still alive. They survived the scientists initial efforts to kill them with carbon dioxide. Perhaps most chilling of all they found as many as 200 queens in various stages of development. It really seems like we got there just in the nick of time. If any queens had already left the nest, it was just a few and very early. Reporter these discoveries are the result of a months long effort to track the insects and entomologists located them using trapped hornets that they released with tracking tags. And then we released the hornets, turned on our tracking gear and were able to follow the radio signal back to the nest. Reporter a group then suiting up, wrapping the tree in plastic and vacuuming out some of the hornets before cutting down the entire tree for a closer examination. Murder hornets, native to asia, are five times larger than honeybees and were first spotted in Washington State late last year. Experts are concerned that they could wipe out the honeybee population and threaten our plants and crops. They are also a threat to animals and humans even living up to their lethal name killing up to 50 people a year in japan. Now, scientists will continue trapping through thanksgiving at least and they say, if they find no new you murder hornets, they will keep hunting them for at least three years because, you guys, right now they cant find the queen. Thank you. Thank goodness for the work theyre doing. Coming up next, Lori Loughlins life behind bars getting ready to move into the general population after quarantining. Trump insists he will win this race even though hes yet to put forth a single shred of evidence of widespread fraud but that isnt stopping Senate Republicans and even some top Trump Administration officials from perpetuating this false narrative. Now, those close to the president tell us that privately he knows this race is over. That he has no pathway to win through litigation, but he still is undermining our electoral process and a peaceful transition of power so its not clear what his real strategy is here except to try and sow doubt about the legitimacy of a biden presidency, george. Sometimes families arent the best people to be in that role. That its very emotionally challenging because its often adversarial and you dont want to pit one Family Member against another. Reporter following the Court Proceedings spears posting, keep jumping towards your dreams. And jamie lynn spears, britneys sister appeared on gma recently saying her sister is coping with this pandemic just like the rest of us, robin, just trying to make the best of it. I remember her saying that, erielle. Thank you. Now we have a gma health alert about sesame allergies. A Northwestern University study reporting they could affect 1. 5 Million People in the u. S. The fda urging companies to clearly label foods that have it as an ingredient. Dr. Jen ashton is here with what you need to know so, jen, what do we need to know . Well, robin, first i think this is a great reminder to people that the fda is able to deal with the pandemic and Food Allergies simultaneously. This is really a call to awareness issued by the fda. They dont have the legal power to require food manufacturers to label packages if they contain sesame, but they can urge increased awareness and potentially have that happen down the road because sesame allergies apparently on the rise. So what are the symptoms of an allergic reaction or if you have a sensitivity to sesame . Well, you know this affects me personally so it definitely hits home. The typical ones, hives, itchiness around the lips and mouth, redness affecting the eyes even and also gastrointestinal symptoms, of course, if severe, it can lead to anaphylaxis which is lifethreatening and requires epinephrine so my medical advice would be get formally tested if you suspect a food allergy. But if sesame isnt clearly marked on the label, what foods should we be aware of, and be careful of . Well, heres the thing, robin. Sometimes its obvious on the ingredients list and sometimes its hidden so take a look. Sesame containing ingredients include things like hummus or tahini, even some baked goods contain sesame, snack food, candies, spices, the list goes on and on so read those labels and if in doubt, avoid it. This is really important and people with Food Allergies both adults and children know this as a way of life. When in doubt, leave it out. Dont even try. Dont even go there if you have any doubt. Yep. All right, jen. Thanks so much. Okay. Thanks very much. We turn to our new series fittok looking at influencers focusing on dieting and fitness. Zohreen shah brings us this. Tiktok saying, we work to foster an inclusive bodypositive environment where people can find support and our goal is to create a space where Community Feels comfortable with who they are, and express themselves freely. Yes, i read the first line on amazon three years ago and i got this chill up my spine. I know that sounds cliche but really happened so i immediately called my team and the first question out of my mouth was, did Reese Witherspoon get the rights to this book, the Flight Attendant . [ laughter ] they were like, let me check. Because i just assumed for sure, right . And she hadnt. It was a miracle and im like, okay, i got to get them. Six months later i won this bidding war and all of a sudden i had the rights to this book and that was three years ago. So Reese Witherspoon sleeps in one day, you get the book. Lets all take a look at the clip. Exactly. What is up with you . Okay, listen, i did go out last night im a little hung over. I dont want to get night. You went out with the guy in 3c. No, no. Well, shane said he and jada think you went out with 3c. Youre taoing about this. Dont be stupid. Were talking about this. What else are we going to talk about. Ill never say i went out with 3c because i didnt. I didnt go out with him. I love seeing rosie perez back and one of your owe costar, is it true you got matching tattoos . We did. We got matching tattoo, little paper airplanes with our wardrobe girls who we became close w weve been through so much. Obviously the whole world has been through so much in 2020 and got shut down and able to come back and finish and we really need to kind of, you know, say how important that was and what a big deal it was to us so we went and got this. It was very special. The moment you dont want to forget. Sense you play a Flight Attendant, lets talk about inflight style. Your husband posted a picture of you. It said of course, he did. This is you leaving for air flight. He said every outfit for all the possible emotions you might encounter while traveling. We have to have you break that down for us. First of all my husbands instagram is just about horses and trolling me. Thats his instagram. I like to be prepared for a flight in case anything happens as you can see i have 17 layers on. I have 47 hairties. Three backpacks. Just in case, you know, i get too hot, i get too cold. You guys, i am ready for anything. Im a professional flier. You know what, we can see that and we cannot wait to see you in the Flight Attendant. Kaley, thanks for joining us. Its been a delight. I so appreciate the support, guys. Thank you. The Flight Attendant premieres on hbo max this thanksgiving. Make sure you check it out. Coming up, jamie oliver will join us live with a great onepot dinner. We are back with one of the bestselling cookbook authors of all im, jamie oliver. This morning joining us with a simple onepot meal from 7 ways easy ideas for every day of the week. Jamie, thanks for joins us. Cant wait to see you cook for us. Tell us about your son, buddy. Seems with his cooking demonstrations hes getting ready to match you. Yeah, hes doing pretty well and hes getting more views than his dad, so hes definitely teaching me a few things. Im not jealous much. No, no, not you, jamie. Not at all. Your new cookbook has lots of easy delicious recipes for the home cook with eight ingredients or less. You emphasize we should just use the grocery list that we have, the basic staples. Tell us about that. Well, listen, the idea of 7 ways. Had is the first cookbook ive written where i use data of what most people buy most weeks. So i thought the best way to get people to cook is if i use ingredients that theyre already buying so absolutely one pound wonders, tray bake, dishes that dont require much washing up. Stuff with less than eight ingredients, ideal. And big flavor so, you know, its a lot in one book but im really proud of it. While we get right to what were going to do here, im going to dig in, youre going to show us how to make your chicken cacciatore, mushroom and chicken cacciatore. But why do you brown the chicken first . So, listen, i brown it because that will seal the meat, gets the color going and gets the flavor going, right, so ive taken the liberty of browning that off already. You can see in the pan weve got some mushrooms there in, an onion, standard ingredient, a few cheats as well you can get big flavor. Im using a jar of these grilled peppers. You can get them everywhere. Just chop them up. Get those into the pan, were going to use beautiful olives and i want to give you a little tip. With the olives try not to buy the ones with the seed taken out, right. Get the ones with the stone in and simply squash it like that and youll take that seed out, the flavor is like five types better. Oh, yeah. With the mushrooms, the olives. Well go in with the peppers and were going to use rosemary, always good to use herb, so im just going to strip some rosemary in there. You can use different herbs to suit your tastes. Now, once youve done that, michael and the rest of the gang, you fry this off for like, lets say like five minute, super quick. Then we can add the chicken back into the story and we can introduce an ingredient that i know youll love, a little glass of red wine. Cheer, guys. Ah. Thats why youre digging in. With some red wine, good morning, america. Come on. And then well let that red wine cook away. Well season it generously with black pepper. A little bit of salt goes in and then just regular tin tomatoes. The point of 7 ways is to make it the most userfriendly cookbook ive written. Use everyday ingredients, chicken, onions, tomatoes but we want to command big flavor. The secret ingredient in this recipe is actually thyme so what well do is simmer that for a little bit and well put it in the oven and after about 45 minutes, have a little look at what weve got. Look at that. Ah. Absolutely beautiful. Thats a beautiful pot roast dish and if you have a little spoon through there, can you see how tender that chicken is. I just pulled some apart. See how tender it is. Pearly white chicken but with that lovely red wine and sweet tomato sauce, serve it with bread, pasta, mashed potatoes, polenta, whatever you like. So simple. I mean im over here scraping the bowl, i mean this, is good. I dont think theres anything left in that bowl. Do you want yours . Please. I would not deny you the way thank you. There are sparks flying. Be over in a minute. 7 ways easy ideas for every day of the week is available now. Get this recipe on our website at goodmorningamerica. Com. Ginger. It was the second halloween was over we started i started decorating for christmas. Well, obviously you two, you love the holiday and, thomas rhett, i have to say you have a new single out today called whats your country song. I love that title. Tell us about it. Thank you, man. Yeah, its really just a song about how everybodys got that one song that really takes them back to a moment in time and the entire song is flooded with country song titles from t the 80s and 90s to now just like in this video i kind of gave a little tease back in april and since then it fees like ive had a wedding ring in my pocket and cant wait to propose. Im so glad its out and have new music just out there and one of my favorite songs ive gotten to record so really excited about it. Thats awesome. Lauren, we know the cma awards will be tonight. Youll present the award for best new artist. Congratulations to you for that. But do you have any preshow jitters, just me even saying that to you makes me nervous. Oh, yeah, i mean, you know, honestly, ive grown up watching him be in the spotlight and be the entertainer and do all these things. Im more than happy to sit sideline and watch but, yeah, its pretty weird that im google doing this tonight and for sure there are some jitters, but thankfully i just the Country Music community is so welcoming and they work with me on, you know, especially when we hosted Country Christmas, it was just a lot of firsts happening this year and everyone has been really awesome to work with so im excited and pretty nervous. Shes a natural. Yeah. Just look at that man to your left and hell wink at you and make you feel comfortable with what youre doing. I have no doubt youll crush it tonight and, thomas rhett, you will be performing your song be a light tonight so why is this the song that we all need to hear right now . You know, i released the song in march just kind of when the country was starting to shut down and we started to notice that the world was kind of just in what of say dark place and just really wanted a song that i knew that would encourage me and hope would encourage people across this country and across the world and so i got a bunch of my friends to sing on the song with me, keith urban, chris tomlin, Hillary Scott and Reba Mcentire so will perform it for the first time an National Television tonight and spread light on the cmas and across the country. Youll perform with reba. Wow. Oh, yeah. Wow, that is something. Reba, youve youve known her your whole life. In fact, you remember her putting you remember her putting you in timeout. What did you do . You know, my dad was a country artist back in the 90s and reba was his first tour so i grew up going to rebas house for halloween parties and, you know, obviously going on the road with my dad and got to see her quite a bit. In some ways shes kind of been like my mom and i remember getting to be really good friends with her son when i was little and we were probably fighting over some toy or Something Back in the day and i do remember reba telling us to sit on opposite ends of the house. Even rehearsing yesterday just getting to talk to her is funny that coming full circle and being really good friends with reba and getting to perform with her tonight is definitely a bucket list moment for me as an artist. I thought she put you in timeout again at rehearsals yesterday. Im glad that didnt happen. Thank you both for joining us. We look forward to seeing you both on this show. Thank you, thomas rhett and lauren. We really appreciate you both. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. You too.
