We are going to see more cases because weve increased the ability to test for them. Most states have the ability or on their way to getting that. Sometimes when you say to someone, dont panic, that can be interpreted as being dismissive or even insulting and actually causing them to panic more, even though thats not the intention. If youre home, you just develop a sore throat, even if youve just gotten off a plane from italy, you are not meeting criteria for cdc testing, and thats important for people to know. The testing criteria just revised by the cdc have three ne in i thevspirat disee and no other explanation. The other category is a of the five affected countries, and right now its just five countries, in the last two weeks and has fever and or symptoms of lower respiratory disease. Hospitalized. Then the third category is someone who has known contact with someone whos had coronavirus in the last two weeks and has either a fever or signs or symptoms of pneumonia. So if you have flights coming from known other countries of affected areas, hot spots if you will south korea, italy bringing hundreds and thousands of people into the United States every day for the last one to two months, its to be expected that there are people who may have no symptoms at all or very, very mild symptoms, so mild, in fact, they might not even seek medical attention, circulating around every part of this country. Both children and the public need to hear the following. I know this is stressful. These are the steps that your government, Public Health officials, and the government i yourself. I cannot stress enough the importance of going to dependable sources like the cdc website or the World Health Organization website. What ive seen thats great is many states have instituted hotlines where people can call, particularly those that have seen cases, which i think will allay a lot of fears and guide people to the right resources. As our temperatures increase and the rainfall patterns change, the landscapes that coffee will grow on has drastically shifted. Its posed great challenges for the industry. Reporter as the planet heats up, coffee needs to be planted at higher altitudes. But theres only so much land you could potentially move to to get to that necessary elevation . Thats right. The average elevation for coffee, for it to be suitable for growing, is going to go up from 2,000 feet to about 3,300 feet. So were at 2,000 feet right now. So we really have to create conditions here of micro climate. But adding shade trees cant completely fix the coffee problem. There are just going to be fewer coffee farmers in nicaragua because theres fewer suitable land. Experts say prices will continue to go up, quality will go down, and premium beans will be harder to harvest. After dropping out of the race, former south bend, indiana, mayor Pete Buttigieg flew to dallas to endorse joe biden, part of the moderate wing uniting behind the former Vice President. We need a politics thats about decency, a politics that brings back dignity. And that is what we sought to practice in my campaign, thats what joe biden has been practicing his entire life. Biden heaped praise on buttigieg, calling him a brilliant and decent man with enormous integrity. Biden picked up an endorsement from minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar who just dropped out of the race last night. She said she couldnt think of another way to end her campaign than joining his. We do not in our party want to just eke by a victory. We want to win big. And joe biden can do that. And yet another onetime 2020 rival, former texas congressman beto orourke, also joined biden on stage to announce that he too is backing the former vp. The moderates are hoping to stop senator Bernie Sanders, whos heading to super tuesday with the most energized supporters. A lot is at stake here so lets take a closer look at whats in play today. Its the single largest voting day so far with 14 States Holding primaries. 1,344 delegates are up for grabs. Thats a third with the nomination. States with the most delegates up for grabs, these are the big prizes. California with 415. Texas with 228. Followed by North Carolina with 110. Virginia and massachusetts all have less than 100. Very few delegates have been awarded yet which is why today is key. So far senator Bernie Sanders has 60 delegates. Former Vice President joe biden is in second with 53 thanks to his win in South Carolina. If sanders wins by a large margin in california and does well elsewhere, his delegate lead may be insurmountable. And timely, get this, of the candidates remaining, four of them are over the age of 70. So buttigieg could wait until 2048 to make another White House Run and still be younger than the top contenders as well as President Trump there.
