Siding with the hospital, which argued in court that her condition is terminal and that tinslee is in pain because of her treatment. Tinslee is suffering, and she is in pain every single day. The truth of the matter is tinslee is not going to get better. Reporter the case is centered on a texas law that allows physicians to stop care they believe is futile if another hospital cant be found to treat the patient. Weve heard from at least 20 of the finest facilities in the country. They have all come to the same conclusion, that her condition is irreversible and that it is terminal. Did you think that once you announced this that it would affect people the way it has . I had no idea. That was not my purpose of making the announcement. Because she has to deal with her worrying about my wellbeing, and also dealing with, im not always the most pleasant person to be around when im experiencing severe pain or depression. Because of the cancer diagnosis, its no longer an openended life, its a closedend life. Because of the terrible statistics, survival rates, for pancreatic cancer. People all over america and abroad have decided they want to let me know now, while im alive, about the impact that ive been having on their existence.
