Investigators want to know why they were inside the building that had been red tagged. It was deemed unsafe. We have the story. This morning the view from drone view 7 showing the damage from the fast moving over night fire. In oakland friday. This video given to us by a neighbor shows the flames out of the building. I seen smoke maybe thought about people. I saw people. Got them out. Firefighters rushing to knock down the flames. This old warehouse was a known problem. November 28, the Fire Department came out with other city agencies and evacuated the structure. You can see the red tags. Thats when 12 People Living inside were evacuated and the building fts boarded up. Hes lived in the building for a year. The owner was charging people rent. Despite the up safe conditions. He was charging 10 a night for people to sleep on the couch. People who were homeless. He wasnt necessarily he was trying to get money from people who didnt have any. Now with the home destroyed all six of people are left without any belongings and looking for a place to stay. We reached out to the man that so many tell us owned the building. John favors. Why hef still renting it out to people even though it was red tagged and unsafe to live in. We havent heard back. Incredible only one person had minor injuries from the fire. And everyone made it out alive. All right. Back to the top story. The deadly crash that killed three teenagers in the east bay. We learn the name of a third victim. Following this tragic story. Hes live in pleasanton tonight where it happened. Good evening. You really get a sense of the impact the crash had on the community. The people that have come out today. Some of the people say they didnt know the family. They just came out to support the community. Dublin high students embracing on the road. The crash site where three of their friends were killed. She didnt know the family. But knows what its like to be a parent. We thought it would be appropriate to a learning lesson. When he drives. This is a reality. It does happen and its sad. The School District identified four of the victims as students. 16 yearold twin brothers. And two other teens are still in the hospital. A fifth unidentified boy. They had their lives in front of them. They were vibrant and young. And its devastating to the schools and the community. Superintendent says the community has been hit hard by the accident. A especially since the students had been in the district since elementary. His message to students, the importance of family. Unfortunately understand that at a moment your life can be taken and your world can be turned upside down. Really important to love one another. And love your cherish your family. Once we heard about him, we pretty much got terrified. He lives a block away from the school. He says his older cousin was friends with the boys. They could come over after practice. He was kind and careful. A really great kid. I dont know his background but around me hes really kinld and nice. And rest in peace. Now a memorial vigil has been set for 5 00 p. M.
