According to a Facebook Group titled find erin valentivale is the same area she disappeared. Her family filed a mising report. Her husband said she was catching a flight home to utah. San jose police have not confirmed if the body is hers. Pg e has restored electricity to all customers affected by the planned outages. They say power was restored to all 738,000 customers by about 6 00 last night. All bay area customers had gotten power back yesterday morning. The shutoffs were called for because of red flag weather conditions. Pg es president and ceo spoke publicly about the shutoffs and acknowledged things didnt go as planned. I think i and the company have been particularly forthright in describing our shortcomings in the event. Some things we were not prepared for, and we will fix those. Pg e said it found 50 instances of hazard during the planned outages. The utility says its looking into more instances the damage could have potentially caused a wildfire. The power may be back on. Many people are getting back to normal. At uc berkeley some graduate students struggle in the aftermath of the power outage, especially those in the fields of science whose projects were depending on power. Reporter sara morris says 12hour days are not uncommon at the bio Chemistry Lab at uc berkeley, but the power outage may have destroyed two years of her Ancer Research valued at 500,000. At least 19 people are dead and more than a dozen are missing after a typhoon. Helicopters and boats are out in full force to rescue people trapped in their homes. 14 rivers across the nation are experiencing flooding, deaths include those who got swept away by raging rivers and some trapped in mud slides. A woman in her 70s was dropped 130 feet during an attempted rescue. She was rushed to the hospital, but later died. 375,000 homes have no electricity. Back here in the states video captured the moment a Hard Rock Hotel under construction in new orleans collapsed killing at least two people. That video youve probably seen it, just terrifying. In texas authorities are investigating after a woman was shot and killed by a Fort Worth Police officer early yesterday morning inside her home.
