Fire departments say theyre on high alert and that residents need to be, too. Here we are almost two years later from the tubbs fire and were back in a red flag warning. We want the public to pay attention, be prepared. Were monitoring the situation. Ultimately we want to keep any fires small. Here is a look at the areas pg e is targeting. 33,000 customers in Sonoma County could be impacted, 10,000 in napa, this could impact 12,000 customers in lake county. In the south bay, a string of wildfires in the hills above milpitas are keeping roads closed near the calaveras reservoir. Cal fire is dealing with six fires in that area. They burned 128 acres. At last word theyre 78 contained. The fire started around noon on saturday. They forced the closure of calaveras road. Cal fire says rocks are rolling on to the road and its not sure when it will reopen. New this morning, at least one person died in a crash along highway 152 east of gilroy. A big rig and three other vehicles collided around 8 30 last night. Highway patrol kept highway 152 closed in both directions until 1 00 this morning. Chp officers are working to find out who was at fault in this deadly crash along the twolane highway. Happening today, a judge is expected to rule on the attempt to stop a Homeless Navigation Center from being built along the waterfront. The group safe embarcadero agues the city failed to get approval from the state Land Commission and bypassed the Environmental Quality act.
