The jurors today again asked to the judge to review some testimony. Abc7 News Reporter Lesley Brinkley joining us live at the courthouse where the wait continues. Reporter thats right, larry and ama. Day nine of deliberations and as the day started, there was a sense from the defense at least that today we would have a verdict. That did not happen. Instead, there were a few surprises from the jury. At 2 45 this afternoon, there was a handwritten note delivered to the judge that note asking for testimony to be reread from carmen brito. Carmen is a prosecution witness who lived at the ghost ship warehouse. They wanted three pages of her testimony reread to them. And that happened this afternoon. There were a few other surprises this morning. Theyre deliberating and talking amongst themselves all morning. There was an expectation among Defense Attorneys that the jury would request a rereading of derek almenas testimony. Its a request they made several days ago and abruptly backed out of yesterday afternoon. The biggest thing that didnt happen is that they have not they still havent asked for a read back of his testimony.
