Reporter just like that morning cup of coffee, the city of berkeley wants reusable cups to become a regular thing. If recyclable is good, reusable is better. You know, your recyclable cup is a great step in the right direction, but what we want to try to go towards is complete reusables. Reporter its all part of berkeleys new single use disposable food ware litter reduction ordinance, a mouthful aimed at getting people to use fewer food and drink containers. Its just the beginning of berkeley trying to figure out how we can do reusable to go ware on a mass scale. Reporter the berkeley pilot will use stainless steel created by a colorado company. The loaner is free. It needs to be returned to a vessel kiosk in five days. We are Health Department certified.
