Station is to the Shopping Mall food court and that is why Police Believe it is possible the gunman may have escaped into a b. A. R. T. Train. Some drivers will pick up cars from the parking garage this morning. The Police Investigation forced passengers to stay away for hours yesterday. Garage is open this morning. And the station is open. So you can use this garage. A lot of people left cars here last night. Because they just couldnt get to them. B. A. R. T. The garage was shut down as police were looking for the shooters who opened fire inside of the tanforan mall yesterday afternoon. The b. A. R. T. Trains also didnt stop at this station. They shut it down for police. Commuters were frustrated. I want to go home and want to take my car with me. So i want to be able to drive back here tomorrow morning to go to work. Reporter b. A. R. T. Did provide a bus bridge between South San Francisco and sfo. But the inconvenience were nostr it stretched throughout the system. The 12th street station in oakland reported it was shut down temporarily and while police were out there searching for the suspects. People reported very crowded platforms. So it was a rough afternoon commute on b. A. R. T. Hoping today will be better and smoother. Everything is open this morning. Police, though, were worried that the shooters had hopped on b. A. R. T. I just checked in with San Bruno Police and they are not ready to update us or brief us yet. Theyre still coming into work this morning. So as we know right now, no arrests have been made. Police have said that they do not think the shootings were random. They do think that they were thr the regis salon and the tmobile store about 4 00 yesterday afternoon. Two juveniles were shot and taken to the hospital. Were told one is in stable condition and the other is in critical. Shoppers describe a chaotic scene as some people were running to get away. While others sheltered in place. People were just running, just literally just countless people were just running full speed ahead. It looked like a race, it looked like a marathon. My manager decided to lockdown the store and so we grabbed people, who were coming into the store from the left side of the mall, and my manager was pulling people in and right when we got our last person in who was a young boy, we locked the doors and turned off the lights. Reporter police searched the mall but say the suspects may have jumped on a b. A. R. T. Train and gotten out of the area. They also searched b. A. R. T. Stations, the parking garage here, they did lockdown that parking lot for several hours. Today they will help people retrieve anything left behind in the mall. People can also get their cars, the b. Her alerts showed her family and friends that she had taken refuge. She waited in a storage room at a victorias secret. It is dark and the only way out is the door that we came in. So, yeah, that was the scary part because im like, oh, my god. If they found us and were in here well Police Arrived 15 minutes later and led randrup and her to safety and she was posting she was heading out of the mall. And police swarmed the 12th street b. A. R. T. Station in oakland and had to clear out passengers. Officers said a gun was found there but it turns out that was not correct. Police say they had a credible lead that a suspect wasay they of the suspect so they knew who they were looking for. But because they say this is an Ongoing Investigation they are not sharing those details. Just to be clear, no weapon was found at any b. A. R. T. Station and no arrests have been made. So as far as your commute is concerned, this is on the eastbound side of the roadway. Looks like that frontage road is blocked and the right lane on the main line is blocked as well. So this is eastbound 84 before you get to the toll plaza for n the traffic maps and show you exactly where this is. Not seeing too much of it back up and it looked okay on the feed from sky 7 but we had a crash not too far from there on the westbound side of the roadway. For about an hour and a half that one did finally clear. So we do have residual delay and some folks may slow down to look at that Emergency Response on the other side of the roadway as well.
