A family escaped injury last night after someone fired at their car on westbound 24 and oakland west of 51st street. The chp tells us the incident happened at around 7 40. Thats when a vehicle described as a gray sedan pulled up and fired one shot, hitting the familys white dodge avenger. No one in the vehicle was hurt. Chp officials will continue to investigate the shooting. The california Highway Patrol is also investigating reports of shots fired on the bay bridge. Witnesses report a gray car fired several rounds at a black suv at around 7 00 last night. The chp is looking for the drivers of both vehicles. The company is renovating two Office Buildings on dumbarton circle that can accommodate more than a thousand workers. But the move will actually impact both fremont and newark. Reporter and in fremont, Martha Martinez worries about her family being pushed out of their home. The rent is going to go up higher. A year ago we moved out because our rent increased 500 in a month. Reporter call it a sign of the times, perhaps the new normal, as companies such as tesla make plans to relocate or set up in the city. We are part of silicon valley. Were part of the region now. Renovations have begun on these two buildings that will eventually house tesla as the Company Makes plans to build beyond its current factory in fremont and its headquarters in palo alto.
