We have images coming from there. Look at that. It came ashore on thursday bringing typhoon strength winds to the area just east of hong kong. The trees toppled, signs blown over. Commuters were stuck out in the storm as it came ashore. But Railway Services were suspended and numerous flights were canceled. In hong kong people were sent home early on thursday afternoon as winds started to pick up. Chan hom is setting up to bring conditions near shanghai over the weekend. The waves are very high as you can see from this image. Now, pulling in towards hainan. So this is going to bring stormy conditions even though it downgrades it into a tropical depression. The wind gusts are still reaching 110 Kilometers Per Hour. More of the rainfall across shanghai because chan hom will be on its way. A lot of things happening here. The westerly flow from chan hom and linfa is still carried into the Northern Areas of luzon. That includes schools. Up to 250 millimeters is well likely on a very well saturated land and the severe flooding could get worse. Now to the Bigger Picture we go. The rainy season were still looking at showers and thunderstorms. Chanhom is surging that moisture all the way up towards tokyo.
