Benjamin Karl clinched his fifth world title after triumphing in the parallel slalom at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard World Championships in Rogla.
The Austrian defeated compatriot Andreas Prommegger in the big final, crossing the line in 55.58sec.
Defending champion Dmitry Loginov, who retained the parallel giant slalom world title yesterday, finished with bronze after winning the small final against fellow Russian Andrey Sobolev.
The 35-year-old Karl achieved his third parallel slalom world gold medal with his victory, having previously topped the podium in 2009 and 2011.
He also earned world titles in the parallel giant slalom in 2011 and 2013.
