Karen Cheney, 71, resident of Baxter, died on October 23rd, 2023, in Brainerd, MN. Karen was born February 8th, 1952, to Harold Koop and Jane (Frederick) Koop. She received an associates degree from Central Lakes College and went on to work at the State Hospital, she then retired from the DNR. Karen was married to Roy Cheney in 1977.
