The Kano state government has directed Bichi Emirate council to suspend the ‘turbaning’ ceremony of Salisu Ado Bayero as a district head in the Emirate. This is contained in a letter addressed to the secretary of Bichi Emirate, signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government, Ibrahim M. Kabara, on behalf of Deputy Governor Aminu Abdulsalam and the overseeing commissioner. SaharaReporters reports that Salisu is the younger brother of the Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero.
