Judge accepts plea deal in 6-year-old Burlington murder case

Louis Fortier was sentenced on Monday for murder in the stabbing death of Richard Medina, 43, on Burlington’s Church Street Marketplace in March 2017. The plea deal will keep him in the state psychiatric hospital for the “foreseeable future” and potentially the rest of his life.
