Joy Kaiser, whose philanthropy helped address injustices in South African health care, dies at 90

By the time it closed in 2007, the Medical Education for South African Blacks had collected more than $27 million in gifts and grants to train more than 10,000 physicians, dentists, nurses and hospital technicians.
