Jim Crockett Jr., legendary pro wrestling figure, dead at 76

He was 76. Dave Meltzer recently reported Crockett was in “grave condition” due to kidney and liver failure.
Born in Charlotte, Crockett ran his family’s Jim Crockett Promotions from 1977 until the late 1980s, helping to further establish the careers of wrestling legends like Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, The Road Warriors, Sting, Jim Ross and Jim Cornette.
