Japan's Sharp plans to set up $3-5 billion display fab semiconductor unit in India

Sharp is currently exploring potential locations for the manufacturing setup and has been in talks with state governments in Telangana, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The company has also expressed its intention to establish the factory in India as a global manufacturing hub, serving key markets worldwide.
