James Pegg defends trophy in 36-hole Strokeplay Championship at Cardigan

The winner of the Strokeplay Championship was James Pegg with a score of 146 (74+72), successfully defending his trophy.
JAMES Pegg successfully defended his title in Cardigan Golf Club's 36 hole Strokeplay Championship on Sunday.
In good weather conditions, with a slight wind, Pegg came out on top with a score of 146 (74+72) to reclaim the trophy.
In second place was Dyfed Jones with a score of 148 (68+80), and Jac Emanuel took third position with a score of 150 (72+78).
There were 27 entries for this prestigious event, sponsored by club steward and Stewardess, Pat and Lil Malloy. played in good conditions.
With a slight wind, and the course again presented in excellent condition, there were some good scores returned from the field.
