CLEVELAND, Ohio — Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne says the inspiration for his latest song, “My Cleveland Heart,” came during a drive around Northeast Ohio
“The person I was driving with said, ‘That’s Cleveland Heart,’” Browne said in the interview with Rolling Stone
. “‘That’s where they make artificial hearts.’ I said, ‘Oh, I could use one of those!’”
It’s not clear when Browne was driving around Northeast Ohio. The last time he was known to be in the region was 2019, when he made an appearance at the Grog Shop for a memorial service for James Henke, a former curator at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, who died that year.
