The Isabella County Sheriff’s Office has a warning about stolen vehicles.
The sheriff says they saw a drastic increase in stolen cars over the last few months from both rural and more populated areas.
Most have been recovered, but police believe people are using the cars to commit other crimes like retail fraud and breaking and entering.
The sheriff wants to remind residents to always lock their cars, whether they are in parking lots or driveways, saying its the best deterrent.
