Ireland's Covid-19 restrictions are the toughest in Europe - but how are others faring in efforts to exit lockdown?

The Blavatnik School Stringency Index ranked the Irish Government the strictest.
Executive Director Toby Phillips told the Irish Sun that government policies in Ireland and the UK were the most restrictive - which makes Ireland's the toughest in the EU.
He said: "Our stringency index is based on eight areas including school closures, border restrictions, stay at home orders, and caps on gatherings.
"Broadly, Ireland is definitely by our measures has one of the most stringent policy measures in Europe."
According to Reuters Covid 19 tracker data published yesterday, Ireland has the seventh lowest number of cases per 100,000 – 110 – in the EU.
