Introduction of 2nd dose of the Measles-Rubella Vaccine underway

The plan is to introduce the rubella vaccine among and into the infants routine programme as a combination with the measles antigen. This will immediately be followed with a catch up immunization to target adolescent females aged 9 to 15 years. Planned engagement of new sectors ; Ministry of Education and its partners, as well as the private sector.
