The UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK, has announced a £6.6 million investment in research projects which aim to help build a stronger supply chain of the critical minerals we rely on everyday. The Critical Materials for Magnets Competition is part of the circular critical materials supply chains (CLIMATES) programme. The CLIMATES programme, announced in February, committed £15 million of government funding for cutting-edge research to strengthen the supply of critical materials. Huge opportunity for UK businesses
