European Task Force busted a criminal network using sham marriages for immigration purposes. Led by Cyprus, the operation arrested 15 suspects, including Indians and Pakistanis. The criminals in this network allegedly recruited Latvian and Portuguese citizens and facilitated their travel to Cyprus, Europe, where the women entered into arranged marriages with third-country nationals.
