In Robesonia, food, fun and Santa

Robesonia was the center of a Christmas party Saturday in western Berks County out on Route 422. 
From 2 to 4 p.m. there was a food giveaway with Santa and Mrs. Claus and their elves supervising and handing out candy to all the children in the Community Cares Christmas.
"This event was for everyone," said co-organizer Kevin Snyder. "Those who needed a meal, those who appreciate a free meal, those that wanted to see Santa and those that wanted to help us continue to show that our community cares.
"We gave out over 430 hams, 1,700 cans of vegetables, 700 boxes of stuffing, 300 pounds of peanut butter cups, 1,000 candy canes and 800 special treats from Santa."
