The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has warned those who have put up illegal flexes, banners, cut-outs, and other publicity materials in the city without obtaining permission. Such materials have been causing inconvenience and may lead to accidents. The MCC will take action, including criminal cases, against violators under The Karnataka Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1981.
