If you are just studying andreading and watching videos, you’re not an entrepreneur. You’re not building or creating things that give back to the economy and that provide value for the world. So today we’re gonnachange all that, okay? We’re gonna build somethingtoday, something awesome. Just like my first affiliatebusiness and my first website that actually providedreal value to people, the reason why I was able to go on to generate $3,000 a month. So, basically we’re gonnabreak it down step by step and this process I’mabout to show you guys is seven years of experienceand this right here I think is the absolute best way for a beginner to get started with affiliate marketingbecause one, it’s just low risk.At $76 even if thisdoesn’t become profitable and it doesn’t go on to succeed, at the end of the dayit’s only 76 bucks so, we’re not missing out onthousands and thousands of dollars through something like eCommerce, right? We’re not risking that much money. We’re boot strapping. It’s a lean startup and we’re keeping our startup costs to a minimum but at the same time we’recreating a real value business that you can actuallyshow somebody, right? That you can actually be proud of right? So, now that that’s out of the way, let’s get started with creating your business today and we’re gonna start from the beginning withstep number one, all right? So, step number one is choosing a niche. Now, I have a video right here and one thing you’ll see throughout this guide and you can go into each of the individual stepsat the top by the way, and you can actually see basically the step in more detail, okay? This page right here,the all steps is just to give you guys anoverview of everything. Now, you can just use this one page and create your business, but if you wanna go deeper into things and learn more you can clickany of these links at the top. So, the first step is choosing a niche and my biggest advice with this, right? Now, I’ve made a video called Best Niches In AffiliateMarketing for Beginners, and I actually include it here. Basically you guys, ifthere’s any relevant videos I’ve made in the past that I think are really really helpful for each step I’m gonna include it in this guide.Now, the big thing I wanna say is don’t worry about picking the perfect niche the first time okay? Nobody hits a home run on their first try. That’s one thing I wannashare with you guys, and with the businesswe’re creating today, even if you choose one niche today you can create another business or a third business or a fourth business very easily for pretty much the same cost or minimal cost and go into another niche if you decide to change your mind. So, just don’t feel that you have to get married to thisone niche all right? And I’m gonna show youin here on the website, you guys are actually gonna see dozens of profitable nichesthat I’m gonna list out. Basically you can see health, wealth, electronics, fashion,hobbies and within that there are so many different niches that you guys can check out. I’m not gonna read them all to save time and so that we can keep this movin’, but if you want to to learn even more, then you can watch this video.But again, my biggest advice is don’t get too caught up in choosing theperfect niche the first time. The goal is we get started right now so that you learn the fundamentals and the process and then we can expand to other niches in the future very easily and for pretty much the same cost or just a minimal additional cost, okay? On top of that $76. So, the first step,choosing a niche, right? So, that’s the first thing we wanna do because we wanna have an idea of what kind of industry we’re gonna get into because our next step is all gonna be about building our businessand branding, okay? So, once you’ve chosen a niche and again, refer to the website so you can do more research andalso watch this video, it will really help in terms of deciding if you should go after your passion or go after profit when it comes to your affiliate marketing business.Now, let’s move on tostep number two all right? Now step number two is finding an available website namerelated to your niche. Now, some of you may be asking do you need a website to start affiliate marketing? Is it necessary? And I’m gonna say the answer is yes. I’m gonna show you guys right now exactly why you need a website todo affiliate marketing. So, some of my favorite affiliate programs include Amazon Associates,Commission Junction, ShareASale and Direct Affiliate Programs and right now we’regonna do this together. I’m gonna apply for the AmazonAssociates Affiliate Program. So, right here I have theapplication opened up. I’ve already answered the first part which is the account information and creating an Amazon account for free, but now you’re gonna see, they’re gonna ask you tolist your website, okay? Enter your websitesplural and it’s required.And it says right here if you read this, you need to add at leastone website or mobile app. You can add up to 50websites or mobile apps. Now, luckily we don’tneed to have 50 websites but you do need to have at least one. Now, this is just Amazon Associates. This is the largest affiliate program that gives you access to affiliate links for any product that’son Amazon’s Marketplace.All of a sudden if you can promote any product that’s on Amazon, you’ve opened up every single niche that you can think of right? Now let me move on toanother affiliate program and this is called Commission Junction. Commission Junction hassome of the largest brands in the world including I believe Nike, Bose, I think Sephora. They have some of the largest brands in the world in Commission Junction, okay? Now, you can choose to become a partner with the world’s best brandsand you sign up right? As a publisher, okay? So if you go onto the website, now I’ll have links to that on this page on the free resource, the free guide.So don’t worry about that. You guys will see that if you scroll down. But basically when you’re applying for Commission Junction, right? So, the next step that’s gonna happen is they’re gonna ask you again, aside from your informationand it says stuff here like company name, address. Now, the thing is if you don’t have a company you can just put your name. It actually says that right here, but they’re gonna ask youagain for your website. Website information all right? Do you guys see a pattern emerging here? Amazon Associates,Commission Junction, okay? They ask you for your website name, the URL which just means the domain and then describing your website, the category and unique monthly visitors. Now, don’t worry if you don’t have any visitors because there is an option for not yet launched andthat’s completely fine, okay? And that’s what we’re doin’ today.We’re launching our business. We’re in the prelaunch phase. Now, let me move on toanother affiliate program just to drive the point home, okay? This is ShareASale. ShareASale has again,some of the largest brands in the world when it comes to just consumer productsand affiliate marketing. Now, I’m signing up forthe affiliate program here and what do you know? Primary affiliate website. What is the websiteassociated with your account? Other website may be addedto the account later. Another thing I wanna say guys is, so we’re creating this website, right? It doesn’t need to be the be all end all or your final website. That’s why I say in step one, don’t get too tied up withchoosing the perfect niche ’cause you can alwayscreate more websites, more businesses and more brands later. The key is that we have something so that we can apply forthese affiliate programs and get in to the affiliateprogram and once you’re inside, look, you can add other websites later.So, don’t worry aboutchoosing the perfect niche or even creating theperfect website to start, you just need something toget your foot in the door. Once you’re in you’re in and then you can make multiple websites go after different niches and industries afterwards and basically you seehere they’re asking you for a website and it says important, you must have an operateat least one website in order to create an affiliateaccount at shareasale.com. So, I hope that drives the point home why a website is necessary because the largest affiliateprograms in the world, they all require a website and even if they did not require a website, the reason why we wanna make a website is so that you actuallyhave a real business with tangible assets okay? Now we’re gonna get intothat a little bit later, but essentially you wannacreate something that one day, think about this, that you could sell to someone else for money.Now, when you don’t have a website and you’re just spammingyour affiliate links, right? And even if you make some sales, you don’t have a real business. You’re just a salesman, right? When you have an actual website, right? That gets visitors, that gets sales, that gets traffic, right? That has an email list,now we’re talking about a real company that has assets that you could even sell one day for a profit and usually people are willing to pay 10 to 12 times the monthly revenue. So if your business ismaking $10,000 a month, someone may be willing to pay you up to $120,000 or more depending on your niche or industry. But 120 grand to buy your website, okay? Now, that’s what having affiliate marketing business is all about. Not just being an affiliate marketer and making sales but having a business. So, the next step, number two is I want you guys to find an availablewebsite name related to your niche and one thing I did to help you guys out is on this page you can actually searchup available domains right from this widget right here, okay? And then you can look up any website name and I recommend you guys go for a .com.Now, if you can’t find a .com, this is just a tip but you can use alternatives like.co, .net, .org, okay? And even something like .iowhich is not listed here which seems to be morepopular as of late for a lot of kind of tech websitesand just newer websites. But basically get creative, okay? And another tip I have for people when you’re trying to find a domain and just remember that this domain is gonna be your brand.Yeah, it’s the name ofyour website and your URL. It’s also gonna be your brand in the sense that we aregonna take this website and we are going to go all out in terms of getting a custom logo done. We’re gonna make it look real professional just like my firstbusiness recordingnow.com. I have a custom professional logo which I got made for less than $10 and I’ll show you guyshow later in this video, but basically this is a brand, right? Recordingnow.com. RecordingNOW the logo, right? Even just the theme of the colors. This is what branding looks like. So, first thing is first is you need to find a website name and you need to find something that’s available, okay? Again, if you can’tfind your first choice, get creative but once you findsomething that’s available, it’s gonna take you to step number three automatically, okay? And it’s gonna look like this.So, step number three. When you get a domain that’s available and you can see right here, I just typed in just something random. So the domain’s availableand it’s gonna ask you to create an account and also to sign up and this is where the bulk of the $76 fee comes from is because we need to create awebsite and the reason why again is if you want toget to affiliate programs, especially the biggest onesand the top affiliate programs, you must have a website which is what I’m helping you guys with today. So once you have the domain name and it’s available they’llask you to create an account. Now, what we’re lookingat here is web hosting. Now, what’s web hosting? It’s basically renting servers online so we can have a website and we can have the website live on the internet and we’re building this website on a platform called WordPress, okay? Now, WordPress is actually free.Now the issue is and the reason why we have to pay for web hosting is because we need to have a website live on the internet so otherpeople can visit the website. Now you can’t do thatunless you have a server and most people don’t have a web server sitting in their living roomor in their office, right? What we do is we rent servers online and it starts for aslittle as $2.95 a month. Now, I wanna say this is an affiliate link that you’re gonna see here on this page, but this affiliate link actually can only save you money, yeah. That’s right. So, when we’re talkin’about affiliate links and obviously we’re learninghow to do affiliate marketing, now on this page you’regonna find some of the links that are gonna haveexclusive discounts, okay? Up to 33% off for web hosting.So, it can take the price down from $3.95 a month to just $2.95 a month minimum starting price. Now, the reason why I recommendBluehost is because one, I use this web hosting company myself and I’ve used it formultiple affiliate websites. I’ve never had a problem with it and in fact I’m actually gonna take you guys to wordpress.org which is the official websiteand if you guys click this, you can actually see therecommended WordPress web host and what do you know? Bluehost is actuallyat the top right here, and so basically WordPress, the platform that we’re gonna use which runs 27% of theentire worldwide web, chances are the affiliate blog or affiliate websitethat you’re looking at or that you’ve seen isran on WordPress, okay? And so to use WordPress youneed to have web hosting. These are some of thetop web hosting companies and the ones that are officiallyrecommended by WordPress. I prefer Bluehost. It’s the number oneweb host on their page, and I’m just gonna read this real quick. Why Bluehost? Powering over two million websites, Bluehost offers theultimate WordPress platform and that’s from wordpress.org themselves.Tune for WordPress. We offer WordPress, centricdashboards and tools along with one clickinstallation, a free domain name. So that website that you chose in step two usually costs about 12to $15 a year, okay? Not that much but you actually get that for free if you sign up with the web hosting deal that we have here through Bluehost on this page. And you get free email, FTP and more. Easily scalable and backedby legendary 24/7 support by in house WordPress experts. And again, the support on Bluehost is, they have live chat support, the have email support and it’s been some of the most responsiveand quickest support I’ve got and I’ve used basically all the top web hostingcompanies that you can think of.I’ve tried a lot of different ones and hands down when it comes to using a WordPress website and building an affiliate website specifically, Bluehost has been my go to for years and it’s what I personallyuse on my websites as well. So, that’s step number three,signing up for web hosting. Now, I’m gonna walk you guys through this. When you find the domainand it’s available, basically you fill out your information. Now I’m gonna guide you guys through the package information and what I recommend and I’m also gonna share with you guys what you need and what you don’t need to saveyou guys money as well. So, the first thing I wanna say is if you wanna get that lowest price, basically you need to sign up for a 36 month plan whichis a three year plan. Now, when you do this what’s interesting is that it’s actually only a little bit over a hundred dollars okay? And that’s for three years guys. When you break it down that’slike 33, 34, $35 per year to have a website and a business live.Now, again I said $76 and I’mgonna stay true to my word. So if I go down to the 12 month price, it goes a little bit up to$4.95 a month but again guys, less than five bucks a month to have a real business live on the internet that looks just like this, okay? And that actually provides real value, gets thousands of visits,gets affiliate sales and makes thousands ofdollars per month is possible with the same exact $4.95per month plan, okay? Now $4.95, that’s literally cheaper then the coffee that I’ve been drinking and I drink a lot of coffee.When it came down to creatingthis free guide last week I didn’t even upload a YouTube video because I want to make this guide, okay? And I hope you guys enjoy it, I hope it provides value for you guys but you can see each one of these coffees was anywhere between five to $6 depending on if I tipped or not and basically, for the price of one of these per month, you can have a business liveon the internet today, okay? So I hope I can just express to you guys how lucky we are to be able to have a real business that has a chance to really make a significant income for less than the price of a cup of coffee every single month. So, as you can see our hosting price dropped down to just $59.40. Literally less than $60 and you can have a website for one yearlive on the internet. Now, the next thing is the package extras. Now these are mostlyupsells and I’m just gonna give you guys my advice on this to save you guys a little money. Personally the only one I would get out of this is the domain privacy protection.Now, this is only 99 cents per month but what it does is that when you create a website or you actually register a domain online right? People can actuallylook up the information of who owns the domain. This is called who isinformation and basically, if you sign for domain privacy protection, what happens is it hidesyour personal information and it keeps it private and when people look at your who is informationabout your name and address, basically it just showsup a bunch of gibberish or it just shows up theinformation for Bluehost, okay? Their company showslike Utah as the address and it basically hidesyour personal information. Now, obviously on the internet I like to keep things private. So, I think that this is wellworth 99 cents per month. I mean that’s 12 bucksover the course of a year. Less than that and I think it’s worth it. So if you combine those two things, a whole year of webhosting at $4.95 a month and then 99 cents a month fordomain privacy protection, that gives us a grandtotal of just $71.28.So we’re still under the $76 mark that I shared with you guys. So, yeah basically you cansee some savings right here. 44% off when you use the affiliate link that’s on that page or in the description of this video if you want quicker access. But basically $71 you can have a whole website just likethis for an entire year, okay? And if you wanna do threeyears it’s even cheaper.It goes down to like $35 a year, okay? So, that’s basically step number three. You’re gonna sign up for the web hosting and if you want you can check out the other official WordPressrecommended web host, but again Bluehost isthe one I personally use. It’s the one I believe in, it’s the one that’s numberone on wordpress.org. So, I wouldn’t useanything else basically. All right guys, so step number four is actually building ourwebsite within WordPress. So, after you sign up for web hosting, you’re gonna be greeted with a dashboard that looks like this. This is the WordPress dashboard. Now, it may be confusing at first and it may be a little overwhelming but I’m gonna walk youguys through exactly how to use this and I’m gonna make it a lot easier to use WordPress for you. Now the number one tip I’mgonna share with you guys and this is gonna completely transform your WordPress experience and after years of developing websites onold school HTML and CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver and now WordPress, this is gonna changethe game for you guys.Now, WordPress by defaultis very sort of basic. It kinda looks like the blog, okay? So I’m gonna show you guys. This is what a normal WordPress website, I do actually have a theme on here. This is not just the stock theme, but even then just look at this. How boring is this guys, right? There’s nothing exciting going on. There’s no colors, it’sa very boring website and it’s just not something that’s gonna get the job done, okay? So I’m gonna close out of this and we’re gonna go back intoour WordPress dashboard. I’m gonna show you guys how we can turn this into aDrag & Drop Editor, okay? Super easy to use.Anyone can do this. It’s gonna transform yourexperience with using WordPress. So, the first thing I’m gonna do, if you guys, if anyone wants to do this and it’s completely free, all you do is you go to plugins on the left hand sidebarand click Add New, okay? So, plugins, Add New. Left hand sidebar, okay? Now we’re gonna search upand I’m gonna search up for a plugin called Elementor, okay? Elementor. Yes it sounds like asuperhero or super villain and you’re actually gonna have links to Elementor here as well but basically, this is a free plugin. Completely free and ittransforms your WordPress editor into a Drag & Drop page builder which I’ll demonstratefor you guys right now. Now I already have Elementor built onto or installed and all you haveto do to install something, I don’t even know what this is, all you have to do is click Install Now and then all you have todo after that is activate.Boom. See? I just did that live for you guys. Now, with Elementor basically, they have over threemillion active installs on websites and itjust, just look at this. The most advanced front endDrag & Drop page builder. I mean, it’s just amazingand if you’re a beginner who’s making a WordPress website I would not create orhave a WordPress install without having this plugin and it’s free. Free to start. Now the one I use is a pro version. It just gives you more templates and more features but youdon’t need that to start. So it’s free technically. So, I’m gonna create a page. Now a page is something like a home page, contact us page, about us page. That’s a page and then you have post. Now a post can besomething like a blog post, it can be an article, it can be a review of a affiliate product, okay? I’m gonna show you guys that in a bit, but we’re gonna create a page first.So, when you go into Pages, all you have to do is Add New, and I was already working on one so I’m gonna open this up and basically I was working on a contact us page, okay? And I have the title right here, okay? And you can see the link. You can even change the name of the link, the slug right here to contact us and then if we just preview this I’ll show you what it looks like stock, okay? Again, it’s the stock WordPress.I’m using a theme that is, it’s a theme that Idownloaded but it’s free and it’s got a picture in the background, it’s kinda cool but still, it’s kind of a boringwebsite to be honest. It’s not really that slick. It doesn’t look that cool. So, what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna actually switch this aroundand start using Elementor to supercharge our design of our website.So the first thing we wanna do is after you haveinstalled you’re gonna see a button that’s like Edit With Elementor, available thanks to our install to plugin but the first thing you need to do is we need to switch over the template from this boring stocktemplate to Elementor. So what we do is we gointo Page Attributes here on the right hand sidebar, okay? Page Attributes and you’regonna go into Elementor Canvas. And this is just startingwith a blank slate, okay? And then I’m just gonna clickupdate just to save that. Every time you want to publish or update your page there’s a blue button, it basically makes itlive on the internet. So, now that we’ve changed it to Elementor Canvas for the template, now I’m gonna edit withElementor and you’re gonna see that things are just gonna be so much easier and so muchbetter from the get go.So, when we get into Elementor, all of a sudden now we have just free reign to do whatever we want. Now the first thing I wanna do, now it’s hard when you’re a beginner and you don’t know where to start. Use a template. That is my number one tip. Once you start using Elementoruse templates and boom. We have all these templatesand a lot of these are free. This is free, that’s free. Anything that doesn’t havethe pro on the top right means it’s a completely free thing to use and you can actually preview some of these and this is a pro one but just look how beautifulthis about us page is and this could be yourabout us on your website if you want to at the click of a button. Now, I’m gonna show you guys. We’re gonna create acontact us page, right? So, I’m actually gonna search up contact and you’ll see we haveall these templates. These are free, the onesthat don’t have pro.I’m gonna use a pro onejust to show you guys. I have pro on my account and I just really like this template right hereso I’m gonna click Insert. Once you click Insert, Elementor does the work for you and boom. Look at this, we have a contact us page. So simple, so easy. And if you don’t like something, I don’t like this anymoreI’m gonna take it out. Delete, boom. Contact us. Contact us for kitchen, whoops,kitchen recommendations. Do you see how easy it is? I’m just Drag & Drop editing this. If you wanna change some words, you can easily click this.Email us and we’ll get backto you within 24 hours. Yes, I know I type pretty fast, right? Just kidding. But basically you can see we have this beautiful contact us page and you can implement andintegrate whatever you want, whatever emails you want, wherever you want this to get sent to. This is a widget, okay? A widget is like something that’s dynamic that for example like a contact us. You can send it to your email. You can choose what email it gets sent to and you guys can actually see right here. You can edit all of that. So, you will put your email here so that you receive all the emails that come through this form. So you just your email,the one that you want to receive messages fromfrom your website and again, everything is Drag & Drop. Everything is Drag & Drop. You wanna change this picture all you have to do is click into it and you click this pencil icon and youcan choose the image. You can remove this one and put a new one. You can upload any image you want.So, I hope you guys can see the power of Elementor and again, this is free to start using. I’m using the pro version which, just again it just has more templates and more sort of widgets like this but at the end of the dayyou can start for free and once you’re done you just click update in the bottom left right here, this green button and now all of a sudden, let me show you guys.So, it’s updated, right? So boring stock WordPress. Refresh that. And look at that. Look how beautiful this is and I just clicked a few buttons right? (laughs) I barely did anything. This was the template working for me. So, that’s basically it andyou can do this with any page. Again, there was an about us page. So let me actually see if Ican find that template again. Let me open this up. The about us page using the same sort of blue theme is beautiful. Let me just open that up andyou can create an about us, a contact us, a homepage. These are your main pages anda page is like a static page. It’s something that doesn’t really change. A post on the otherhand is like an article. It’s like, it’s your content and I’ll show you guys how to make content when we get to that step but basically, what you want to do isyou want to build out your website using WordPressand using Elementor. Again, Drag & Drop. Simple to use. If you need more resources on WordPress, I’ll try and find some andinclude it on this page but literally because 27% of the entire world wideweb runs on WordPress, you can literally just look up anything that you want to do with WordPress and you’ll find plenty of articles that, we can’t cover everythingin this short YouTube video, but obviously you can just search up and you can be resourceful and find tips and tricks that you canuse for your website because there’s so manyresources on WordPress, but I just wanna inspire you guys and put you guys on the right path because if you don’tinclude a page builder, again your website is gonna look boring.Like the website, the stocktheme and template is just, it’s kinda ugly, right? But look at this. Beautiful, beautiful website and you guys literally saw me buildthis live using a template and I edited it live aswell just clicking it, typing it in, simple. Anything you wannaedit, all you have to do is you can move thingsaround just like this. Oops. Let me just show you guys. There you go. You can move things around if you don’t like the order of things. You can just move it around, Drag & Drop. You can delete things with X. You can add elements, add rows and again, it’s just so easy to use this. So, basically that’s it. I’m gonna let you guys just kind of work on your website and again, it’s something that youcan chip away at everyday. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so basically when itcomes to your website, spend some time on it andyou’ll get the hang of it.It’s a bit of a learningcurve in the beginning, but honestly when you’reusing Drag & Drop Editor, I mean all you have to do is just type in and just put it togetherand it’s beautiful, right? So, let’s move on tothe next step all right? I wanna keep things moving and let’s move on to step number five. Now this is where things start to change. When people ask me what sets me apart as an affiliate marketer, okay? And the reason why I’ve been able to take multiple affiliate products to over $100,000 each isbecause of branding okay? That’s the key, that’s the secret I’m gonna share with you guys here. Now, when it comes to branding, basically all it comes down to is coming up with a catchy name, right? Creating a logo, buildinga full website, right? And just making something beautiful that is packaged in a way andthat has a message, right? And you say either you know what you want, you have an idea or you needsomeone to help you choose. So I’m gonna choose that because I don’t know what I want and then they’re gonna ask you what’syour brands personality and now we’re creating a brand and this is the whole point of this video is I want you guys to build a brand and a company today thatyou can show somebody, okay? Instead of telling someoneI’m an entrepreneur. I’m working on this, I’m working on that but you have nothing to show for, now you can show ’em your website, show ’em your brand, show ’em your logo and you can be proud of it, right? So I’m gonna choose corporate right here or maybe sophisticated and modern right? I want somethin’ that looksnice and look at this.Choose a design style, okay? Flat, signature, watercolor, wow, okay? All these look good so I’m gonna do flat and then will you need to edit your logo? No because I don’t know how to edit logos. Will you need to scaleyour logo different sizes? Probably, yeah. Just in case. And then boom. And you guys can just seesome of these companies. Here’s one with a 4.9 star average with over 1,000 reviews. They will create a logostarting at five bucks. For that delivery time of one day and that’s basically it and now that we have a logo we can add to our website in the top here for our header,for any promotional material you use whether you make a YouTube video, whatever you wanna do you can include your logo and now you have a real brand that you can stand behind.So, the $5 logo. I always recommend this ’causewe wanna create a real brand. We wanna think aboutthis as a real company, not just an affiliate blog, right? We wanna create a company,a brand that people actually know and understand. I shared this story in the livestream. I met a guy who is actuallya Facebook ads expert okay? This guy manages literallynine figures a month in advertising spent for his clients, and we’re just getting to know each other. And that’s what I want you guys to do is to create a customer experience when they hear your brand or they see your brand or they see their logo, I want you customers to feel something and to know that you’re a real company, that you’re legit, you know what I mean? So, basically once we putall those things together and this is what it looks like once you start working onyour WordPress website and you have the Drag& Drop Editor, right? To make things easier and you added your logo to your website to the top, all you have to do next, okay? Is now it’s time to start theaffiliate marketing portion.Now it’s time to start applying for affiliate programs and again, when you apply for affiliate programs, they’re gonna ask you for a website. Amazon Associates, what’s your website? Commission Junction righthere, what’s your website? ShareASale, what’s your website? And this is a bonus one for you guys. This is actually signing upfor Adobe’s affiliate program. Adobe, the company that creates Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, all ofthose creative apps, right? And software, they havean affiliate program. They’re willing to pay you to recommend Adobe to other people. So if you’re a photographeror a videographer who uses Photoshop or PremierPro and that’s something that, that’s a software thatyou actually love and use and I only recommend things I love to use, then basically you can sign up for that.You can find the company’saffiliate program and sign up. Now, they’re gonna ask you fora website in this application and again guys this is the reason why I made creating a websiteone of the first steps is ’cause you’re gonna need it to even do affiliate marketing or apply to be an affiliate marketer and apply for the top affiliate programs period. Now, in step number six you can actually go into programs if you wanna learn more but I include one of justmy most popular videos over 100,000 views in justa few short months and it’s The Seven Best AffiliatePrograms for Beginners, okay? And if you’re watching this video, chances are you are a beginner and even if you’re not I suggest you watch this video to learn what are my favorite affiliate programs, but you can watch that in your own time, but I’m just gonna skip right into it. The top two that I recommend to people are usually Amazon Associatesand Commission Junction just because these twomarketplaces and affiliate networks have basically all thelargest brands in the world.Again Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Bose. I believe all of themare available through one or the other whetherit’s Amazon Associates or Commission Junction you’re gonna find these huge billion,billion dollar brands on these affiliate programs right? And so what you’re gonnado is you’re gonna apply and I’ve already shownyou the applications here, and they’re gonna askyou for some information but the key thing that youneed to includes your website and after you build it up using WordPress and Elementor to make your life easier and look way more attractive than the stock factory theme and template, that’s when it’s time to start applying and people ask me howmany blog posts do I need? And post is somethingthat is an actual article.So, if I can just show you guys, go back into WordPress and show you guys where the post is versus a page. Again, page is like yourcontact us, about us. A post is an actual article. Like let’s say a reviewof an affiliate product. So, we go into post youcan add a new post, right? So you add the postand I’m just gonna call this Bose Headphones Review and we’ll talk about content creation in a little bit and getdeeper into it but I’m gonna do my Elementor canvasfor the page attributes, publish this, wait for that to publish.Edit with Elementorwhich I just love doing and you can even just type it in using the WordPress interface if you want to. They both work. So I’m just gonna look up post. So, you can insert this or you can just use the stock theme. Again, a post is more, you need people to be able to read your post, right? It’s more important that people are able to read it rather thenhaving it look like amazing. Now, I mean this does lookabsolutely amazing right here. I mean, it just looks so cool. It looks so clean and professional, but I’m just gonna callthis Bose Headphone Review, and just to make things, QC35 QuietComfort Headphones Review. Boom. And I can click images, I caninclude by affiliate links and I’ll actually showyou guys how to do that.But basically yeah, you make a post and it’s something that’slike an article, okay? And so if we go back here, after you apply for the affiliate programs and you get in and the thing is, the little tip I’m gonna give you guys is chances are you are gonna be automatically approvedby Amazon Associates but the problem is you need to make sure that you actually havea website up and running because they actually can and will go check to make sure that your website is actually functioning and that you actually are who you say you are, that you actually havea real business, okay? ‘Cause some people try and get by and apply with using somethinglike a YouTube channel.Now I think they actuallyhave requirements where you need at least500 plus subscribers to joining Amazon Associates. So again, we need to have a legit website to make sure that we don’t get terminated or banned from these programs when they found out you don’t actually have a website up and running or you’re just using a social media profile as your business when it’s not, right? They want a real custom website with a custom URL with an actualtheme, some content on the page.Again, it doesn’t have to be much. I usually recommend oneor two pieces of content. When you’re making a couple reviews, basically you wanna haveyour website look lived in. It has an about us, a contact us and then a few blog posts, right? That’s it. It doesn’t need to be crazy but it does need to show that youare making and effort. So, basically once you get into the affiliate programs right? The next step is to findan affiliate product and get your affiliate link. So, when you log into theAmazon Associates program, what it’s gonna look likeis you can actually search up any product that’s available, and just an example right here, this is a little screen shot, you can look up anyproduct and I looked up for Beats Headphones and youcan see a bunch of products.They actually had 2,423results (laughs) that popped up but basically find theheadphones that you’re looking for and in this case we have these Beats Solo ThreeWireless On Ear Headphones and all you have to do is click this Get Link right here, okay? And what you’re actually gonna wanna do and this is a tip right here is click this arrow instead of clicking Get Link and you’re gonna have an option to get a shortened link and that’s what this link is right here.This one that has the, just amzn.to and then like a string right here, you can get that shortenedlink this dropdown. Some people get confused ’cause they click Get Link andit has all these crazy, this like widget andcode and this and that but that’s for people if they wanna embed it into their website whichyou can do on your website but I like to just get the affiliate link and then just create atext link on my website.So once I get the affiliate link, basically when you’re making your post, all you have to do isjust kinda type it in and then we have thistext editor right here and when you have your affiliate link it’s really easy and you canactually include your link. So, if I say click here toget your headphones, right? And then you turn that into a hyperlink, and then you just copy and past the URL. Simple, right? That’s your affiliate link right there and you can easily justadd that to your website. Amazon.to/ whatever and justapply that and then boom. There’s the affiliate link. If they click that that’swhere you basically can put tracking cookie on your visitor and you get a commission of anything they buy from Amazon within 24hours of clicking that link.Now you don’t need to renew this link. Once you get this link it’spretty much a done deal, right? The renewal process, whenI’m talking about 24 hours and for other affiliateprograms and companies, it’s actually a longer cookie of 30 days, 60 days and 90 days. Amazon, just because it’s so, it’s the biggest eCommerceretailer in the world, there’s is 24 hours because they go through so much billions of dollars of revenue that 24 hours is, if they were to do 30 days itwould be just overkill okay? But 24 hours is enough time where it is relevant that if someone does click your link and buy itmeans that you really did help them to make that decision.Now, the 24 hour periodis on the user’s end, not your end, okay? You make this link once,you don’t have to change it. Someone clicks it, the24 hour process starts and then it ends 24 hours later. If they click it again it starts again and then it ends 24 hours later and that’s how it worksfor every single visitor who clicks your link on your website. So this is why it’s passive income. Once you create the content whether it’s an article written or video, which I’m gonna talk aboutin step number eight, basically you’re done. The affiliate link doesn’t need to be changed or maintained. It literally, it takes care of itself and if someone clicks itand makes a sale, right? It’s automatic and you just get that added to your account and it’sjust, it’s maintenance free, it’s passive income once you create it and that’s why we’rebuilding something today that has the potential to make sales and make money formonths and years to come even after the fact that you’ve finished.You haven’t touched that website or that article or thatvideo in months, right? And you’re still getting clicks and you’re still getting sales and that’s why I love affiliate marketing. So, let’s move on to step number eight ’cause I know I get a lot of questions about how to create contentfor affiliate marketing and again this is free to start.So let me give you guysthe two basic ways. It’s either written or video okay? And I’m a big fan of video as you can tell on my YouTube channel, but at the end of the day you only need to have a written article. You don’t need to create videos. You can create an article just like this, have the same informationthat you would’ve made in the video and then basically, this can become somethingthat gets affiliate links, that gets traffic, that getsclicks and sales by itself. You do not need a video,it’s not necessary. Now, I recommend if you’re gonna go do the process of writingout this whole article, why don’t you translate that into a video and literally just createsomething simple, right? It doesn’t need to be crazy. So let me go back here to give you guys some advice on making videos.When you make a video you get the chance to basically have you content seen on not only Google andnot only on your website, but YouTube which is a huge platform and I’ll get into that whenwe talk about getting traffic. Creating content. If you just want to write on your WordPress website that’s fine. For video which I do recommendand it’s something that, you can use any modern smartphone, right? Any modern smartphone, aniPhone, anything right? They’re gonna havebasically 4K video quality. I’m not even filming this video in 4K. I’m filming in 1080p full HD and the thing is even the cameras in smartphones these days are overkill for what we’re trying to dobecause at the end of the day, yes you can make a pretty video but at the end of theday we’re just trying to have effectiveness and get sales and when it comes down to making sales, it’s not about how pretty your video is although I’m not sayingdon’t focus on video quality, but it’s about theinformation that’s presented and that’s the reason whypeople will buy things from articles if they havethe relevant information that helps me to make a decision.A decision on what headphones to purchase or if this pair of headphones is the right pair of headphones for me. So, again I like to do both. Double dip where youcreate a written article, you turn that into a video and now we get trafficnot only on our website through Google but also on YouTube, the platform that has billions of users and views every single day, right? So if you’re new to video editing and basically my adviceis use your smartphone just to film because it already has a great camera chances are, right? If you do want to invest, the camera I’m using right now for this video and thecamera I have recommended here is called a Canon G7X Mark II. It’s my favorite videocamera for beginners. If you look in the background, I have a Sony A7R3 with a G Master lens. That set up right here not to brag, but that setup behindme is $6,000 with tax and everything includedthat you see right there.That camera is overkill, okay? I’m using the G7X. The quality is beautiful. It’s point and shoot and it costs literally a tenth of what that setup costs and I barely even use thatsetup which is not often or when I’m takingpictures because it makes, it takes amazing pictures. But for the most part, 99% of the time I’m just using this CanonG7X that I’m filming on right now ’cause I love it. It’s so simple and easy to use. It’s point and shoot. You don’t have to fiddlearound with settings and the focal length and this and that. Literally, you turn it on, youhit record and you’re done. That’s it. So, for editing videos. Now, a lot of computerscome with editing software, but basically I found a free software that you can use on your phone, so if we’re filming on our phone then we should be able toedit on our phone as well just to streamline the process, but Adobe Premier Rush okay? Completely free.You can get it on iPhone,on iOS or Android, okay? No matter what phone you’re using you can probably find thisfor free, free download. I’m sure they have a premium version but you can use this tosimply edit your video and when it comes to editingyou don’t have to get fancy. All you have to do is cut out the parts that you don’t need and just, just chop things up just to make it a lot smoother and remove and outtakes or any mistakes or mess ups and that’s it, and you don’t have to getthe craziest software.Now, when it does come to video editing, some other software include Adobe Premier, that’s usually for Windows usersbut also available for Mac. If you are on Mac like me Ilike to use Final Cut pro. Another program I loveusing is called Camtasia which is a screen share program. It’s actually the one I’m using right now. So again, I only recommend stuff I use and Camtasia’s a software that is just so easy to do ascreen capture recording, do a voiceover at thesame time, easily edit.You can edit live footage,you can edit screen capture, you can put the two togetherlike I’m doing right now. I have the face cam and then I have the screen share on the computer. I’m using Camtasia. That is the secret right there. So, yeah. It doesn’t really matter what software you use as long as it can edit, as long as it can basicallysplice clips together and remove the mistakesand the outtakes, right? That’s it. So, let’s keep movin’ on. Step number nine. Now, this is such a juicy topic which is getting traffic to your content. Everyone always asks me even after we go through those steps, if you don’t get traffic you’re not gonna get any affiliatesales and you’re not gonna make any money at theend of the day right? We need traffic to get sales. Now, I’m gonna answer that in this video right now but again, any one of these steps and topics, I can go on for hours and hours and hours and for the sake oftime I wanna streamline this process for you guys and again, we have this free resource right here.I created a video on How To Get Traffic To Tour Affiliate Marketing website. You can watch the whole video. It’s 24 minutes long and basically, I’m gonna give you guys a brief overview of how to get traffic toyour affiliate website and business but you canwatch this full video, 24 minutes if you wantto learn more in depth about how to get trafficboth free and paid. So I’m gonna offer you guys two options.We can either get free traffic or we can get paid or you can get both which is what I usually recommend. Now when it comes to paid traffic you can start just $5 a day, okay? Now, obviously what we wanna do is we want to learnmore about the concepts and build up our skillsbefore we start spending money because we can easily just lose this money and I don’t really consider spending money on paid traffic and not getting sales, I don’t consider that losingmoney, I’m collecting data. I’m learning okay? I’m learning what works andwhat doesn’t work, okay? So, basically let’s startwith the free traffic method which I think most of us wouldlove because hey, it’s free. Who doesn’t love free, right? And lucky for you, freetraffic is actually the best possible traffic you can get. Now, free traffic comes through a process called Search EngineOptimization also known as SEO. And I’ve talked about SEOin videos such as this, How To Get Traffic. But basically SEO is when someone types up and they look up your key word on Google.So let’s say again, wehave this headphone review. If somebody looks up Bose QC35 QuietComfortHeadphone review, I’m hoping that this articlepops up on Google, okay? That’s how you can getfree organic traffic is if you rank on Googlewhat people are searching. Now, same thing applies to YouTube which is the second largestsearch engine in the world. If someone types up Bose QC35 QuietComfortHeadphone review, if your video with atitle that is targeted around this key work pops up, that’s called search engineoptimization as well.We are optimizing so that weshow up on the search rankings closer to page one if notthe top five search results because the top five search results are gonna get the mosttraffic hands down, right? So, basically search engine optimization is we’re going after a specific key word and in order to do this, what you wanna do isyou wanna do research. You wanna see what peopleare actually looking up. And people, they type in certain things like Beats Studio WirelessHeadphone Review, right? And the general content I liketo create is review content ’cause review content is what people look up when they’re thinkingabout buying a product, right? When you’re thinking about making a purchase or investing inlike a product or a software, you’re probably looking up reviews or social proof or ratings to see how effective or is thisproduct worth it, right? That’s the researchprocess for when people are looking up how to buy anything, right? They look for reviews.They look for, to see whatother people are saying. Is it worth it? Now, when they type in reviewyou want to pop up so you, basically the keyword you wanna go after is insert the productname here and add review. Now obviously you can titleyour thing anything you want. You can make whatever modificationyou want to your article. You don’t have to title it this way, but keep this key work in mind while you’re making the content, okay? Just remember that ifpeople are looking up this content and this key word, you want to center yourcontent around that key word, that specific key word. Now, one thing, a mistake that people do, is they try and stuff the key word a million times and tryand game the system. Do not do that on your YouTubedescription or your website because you are notgoing to show up Google. In fact, they’re gonna penalize you and they might evenblack list your website because they see that you’re trying to intentionally game the system.They don’t like that. In affiliate marketing andwith Google specifically, there’s been updates,algorithm changes where they try and make it more natural and they try and penalize people who are trying to cheat the system. That’s why when it comesto affiliate marketing, I’m a completely white hat. What I’m showing you, we are not breaking any sort of terms of service. We are not breaking any rules. We are doing things by the book because if you wanna lastlong in this business, you have to do things by the book.You can’t be breaking the rulesand try to game the system because it’s gonna catchup to you negatively in the future and I’veseen so many people, their businesses go outof business over night because of an algorithm change. All of a sudden their website which they basically stuffeda bunch of key words trying to rank for this specific key word, all of a sudden it’s not even in the top 10 pages anymoreon the search results because they were gaming the system and Google caught on to itand the flagged that website. So, basically that’s the free way, okay? Is going after a specifickey word in your content.Now the paid way is basicallythrough Facebook ads, Instagram ads, Google ads, YouTube ads. Those are the top four platforms that have billions of potential customers to promote your business to. Now, there are lesspopular ones such as Bing, Pinterest, SnapChat, Reddit,Quora, Media Buying, Solo Ads. You’ve probably heardof some of these, right? And the thing is I don’t like to focus too much at least personally,this is preference, I like to focus on Facebook,Instagram, Google and YouTube. Why? Because if you have billions of potential quality customers to sell to, if you can’t make it work through any one of those platforms, chances are there’s something else wrong.It’s not the traffic source. It’s your business. It’s your website. It’s your contents, right? That’s what I wanna share with you guys is I like to focus on the big platform. So, when we’re talkingabout Google ads, right? Here I have links to allof these platforms as well if you wanna startusing them and they make it super easy because they want people, guys most of Google’s revenuecomes from advertising. They want people to signup and start promoting their business with Google Ads, okay? Facebook, same thing. They make a lot of money through ads and they want you to make it as easy as possible to create an ad. That’s why you see this button right here. They want you to immediately get started and they wanna start collecting your money because that’s what theymake a lot of money from, especially Google okay? So when it comes down to it the process for creating an ad and startingis actually not that hard and you can see you can actuallyeven start a new account, creature your first campaign and then you can even call this number which I think is toll freeto get help signing up and even just startingyour process, right? So, paid traffic again, watchthis video to learn more.Gonna be linked on this page, but basically you canstart advertising on Google which includes YouTube orFacebook which includes Instagram. If you create an ad for Facebook, it actually automatically,you can add that same ad and mirror it on Instagram as well because Facebook owns Instagram. So, very very convenient. Now, the last step, right? After getting traffic and again, you can do more researchon the website here. You can go into traffic up above. You can watch this videowhich I’ve included there for more in depth information. But then the last stepafter that is building a customer list with emailmarketing, all right? Now, this is something that is optional when you start and I just, I put it here because I believe emailmarketing is so important. When we’re creating business, you want to be able to collect your customers emails to have a direct line of access to that customer so that when we’re building a business, it’s about more than just having these affiliate links and getting sales.It’s about creating a customer list, getting people back to your website, returning again and again and again. Getting return visitorsto your website every day, every week, every month. It’s about having an email list, right? And although you’restarting today from scratch, one day you can have a thousand people on that email list and when you send an email out all of a sudden 1,000 people get your email in their inbox. That’s a real business right there. You have access to yourcustomers and if you want to talk about profit maximizationwith affiliate marketing, you wanna be able to reach those customers who are interested in yourniche again and again and again. That’s the secret if you want to have a sustainableaffiliate marketing business is through branding and building assets such as a website, right? An email marketing list, right? Collecting an audience that you can sell to again and again and again, and as you can see right here you don’t need a personal brand. You’re not gonna find anypictures of me on this website. You’re not even gonna find my name, and basically you can create a brand that’s separate from you.A lot of people think that you need to get on camera andstart sharing yourself. No. I create a $3,000 a month business through passive incomethrough Amazon Associates which is arguably the lowestcommission rate, right? I created that with a brandthat was separate from my name and I could sell this to someone else and it would actually have value. If this website was not recordingnow.com and if it was odiproductions.com, then I can’t really set that to someone who’s not ODi Productions.So that’s what I wanna share with you guys is when we’re building a company, it’s separate from your personal brand. Now, that doesn’t mean you can’t use your personal brand or createa personal brand website. By all means, if you wantto create you first blog and your first WordPress website and it happens to be a personal brand, like odiproductions.comor whatever your name is, then by all means you can do that as well.
