Honda has announced a new filter for its vehicles’ climate control systems that promises to clean more than 99.8 per cent of airborne particles in your car's cabin.
Released as an accessory for the updated Japanese-market Honda N-Box in December 2020, the Kurumask is designed to remove microbes from inside the car within 15 minutes, Honda claims.
Tested using E.coli bacteria, the new filter removed 99.8 per cent of the droplets containing the bacteria within 15 minutes and 99.9 per cent of any traces of it after 24 hours.
