Safety protocols
Holiday World officials are still examining the Centers for Disease Control’s newly relaxed guidelines for mask usage among those with COVID-19 vaccinations. The latest CDC statements came Thursday, and “we found out the same time as everyone else,” Jones said.
For now, Holiday World will still require guests to wear masks at the front gate and at indoor facilities (except while eating and drinking).
Guests can shed masks elsewhere in the park, although distancing is encouraged in lines and other crowded environments “so everyone feels comfortable and safe for their visit,” Jones said.
What’s new?
Since the park was closed for part of 2020 and somewhat limited when it did open, some recent additions will seem new to guests visiting this year.
