1/4 wave of COVID-19 is threatened to overwhelm the US but Children under 12 are still unable to get vaccinated to protect themselves. So how do we protect them by getting vaccinated? CNN says everyone that's part of a child's life needs to get vaccinated in order to limit their exposure to the variant. Explain to your kids the importance of getting vaccinated, explain how it protects. Not only then, but all those around them. People should ask those around kids who aren't vaccinated to wear a mask and even consider getting a covid test before getting together. Dr Yvonne maldonado, chief of the division of infectious diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at stanford Medicine said you wouldn't want your child in a car where someone was driving without seatbelts or without a driver's license, continued to emphasize the importance of good hygiene. When going to school, kids are advised to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status, says the american Academy of Pediatrics. Yahoo life encourages outdoor play dates and for the household to mask up in indoor public spaces, even if they've been vaccinated, because remember, you can still get the virus and not have symptoms.
