Here is Minnesota's COVID-19 update for Saturday, March 6

Saturday's COVID update from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) includes 975 new cases and 12 new deaths.
The newly reported deaths brings the state's total to 6,546 over the course of the pandemic. Of the total deaths, 62.3% (4,078) were residents of long-term care, including two of the latest 12.
Through Mar. 4, the state reported that 1,016,274 people have received at least 1 dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while 543,696 people have completed both doses of vaccine that are required for the vaccines' maximum effect.
