Henderson County News: Sheriff fires deputy who shot at man in parking lot

Henderson County (Feb 23, 2024) - Henderson County Sheriff Lowell Griffin has fired a deputy who shot and wounded a man standing beside a patrol cruiser early Friday morning in a apartment complex parking lot, the sheriff said in a statement in which he declared, "no one is above being held accountable for their actions." The investigation into the officer-involved shooting is being led the SBI.
