Heart problems in children with rare inflammatory syndrome linked to COVID-19 resolve within four months, study finds
Researchers looked at 45 children in New York diagnosed with MIS-C, a condition in which different body parts become inflamed linked to COVID-19 
Nearly 80% of children had some level of cardiac dysfunction and half had serious issues such as poor ability of heart to pump properly and leaky valves
Heart issues and inflammatory biomarkers began falling within one to four weeks of being discharged
Within four months, all heart problems and biomarkers had fallen to normal normal levels, showing cardiac issues in children with MIS-C are temporary
