Hawke's Bay police appeal for public help after death of Napier man Peter Lui

Police are still seeking sightings of a maroon Holden Commodore that was located by police in Napier early on Tuesday.
“Police understand that the events of Monday have rightfully caused concern, and we want to reassure the community that there will be a strong and visible police presence across the city,” a spokesperson said.
Napier mayor Kirsten Wise said more police visibility was needed on the streets to help de-escalate crime in the city.

Anyone with information can call Police on 105 and quote file number 210329/1374. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
