SALEM — It was a normal Sunday at Salem Prime Cuts for Adam Ritchotte until slicing a beef-shoulder blade resulted in an accident that butcher’s refer to as a “widowmaker.”
Ritchotte, a Baltic resident, suffered a nearly fatal, accidental laceration to his groin during the incident on March 7, but was saved by his partner’s quick response to help stop the bleeding.
