(Oregon Coast) – July 29 will mark a special day on the Oregon coast, an anniversary of a true breakthrough for the region. It will be 50 years ago that a small group of conservation pioneers formed the Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition (OSCC) on that day in 1971, starting the ball rolling on a series of successful saves that have helped keep the coastline as attractive as it is today.
