Gila Regional Medical Center has received a $2.5 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant through the U.S. Economic Development Administration for roof renovations and improvements to its heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced Thursday.
“President Biden is committed to supporting New Mexico communities as they build back better from the coronavirus pandemic,” Raimondo said in a press release. “These EDA investments will provide infrastructure improvements needed to meet regional health care demands and critical gap financing for businesses to create stronger regional economies.”
