Govt to establish new agency to oversee disaster risk management

Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister Myles LaRoda said yesterday that the government will establish an agency to oversee disaster risk management, which will allow The Bahamas to access more funding. “We are moving toward having an aggressive 12 month a year agency,” LaRoda said during the weekly press briefing at the Office
