On Monday, health experts advising the Lithuanian government are discussing further quarantine easing steps.
"The experts will discuss possible further models for the spread of the pandemic and its management: at what level of immunisation of the population, [which includes] vaccination plus naturally acquired immunity,” Rasa Jakilaitienė, the prime minister's spokeswoman, told BNS.
The commission will also discuss what indicators, including “the occupancy [rates] of beds in hospitals and intensive care units”, may be used “to plan a return to life as normal with Covid-19 as a seasonal disease”, according to Jakilaitienė.
