Gov. Cox issues Pride month declaration, believed to be a first for Utah governors

June 2021 is LGBTQ+ Pride Month in Utah, Gov. Spencer Cox declared on Tuesday as communities kicked off Pride celebrations. According to the Utah Pride Center, Cox's declaration is the first of its kind by a sitting Utah governor.
