Lars Rasmussen, World Financial Group, is this year's recipient of the Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills Chamber of Commerce second annual Stephanie Smith-Howard Volunteer Heart Award.
The chamber launched this award last year to recognize Stephanie Smith-Howard of Design Insurance Brokers, aka Mrs. Claus, one of the chamber's most active volunteers since 1986, who despite significant health challenges, remains active in the chamber and community and always gives her heart to all.
Mrs. Claus presented the 2020 award at the GLMV Virtual Holiday Party Dec. 15 to Rasmussen, who has gone beyond to participate in the chamber.
