A LUXURY pod accommodation provider is poised to ramp up its presence in Scotland after securing a £1.25 million investment deal.
Glamping company FURTHER.SPACE helps landowners move into the growing agri-tourism sector – and take advantage of the expanding staycation trend – by installing and operating high-end pods on their properties.
Since forming in 2019, the company has placed 50 pods in 10 sites across Scotland and Ireland.
Now it plans to increase that number even further after being backed by Foresight Group, the listed infrastructure and private equity investment manager. FURTHER.SPACE has hired two Scottish-based business development managers as part of plans to install more than 100 pods in Scotland over the next five years and take advantage of a strong pipeline of potential landowner venues.
